    BBC1
    20:00 - EastEnders: 9.8m (38.0%)

    ITV (inc ITV HD)
    19:00 - Emmerdale: 8.4m (36.7%)
    19:30 - Coronation Street: 10.8m (44.5%)
    20:00 - Wild Britain with Ray Mears: 4.2m (16.3%)
    20:30 - Coronation Street: 11.0m (41.7%)

    That's very good for Coronation Street. Its highest overnight full slot rating in over 1.5 years since 2nd February 2009. Even the snow bound tv ratings (full slot) in January of this year didn't hit 11m.

    Well above average for Emmerdale and Eastenders too, both recording highs yesterday since Feb/March 2010.

    Really pleasing ratings for Corrie there-I would guess the 2nd episode will timeshift to over 12m. The 2 episodes really were two of the best Corrie episodes in a long time and seeing a figure like 11m is great. It's been a while since the show achieved nearly a 45% share too. There's only a handful of episodes till the 'big week' now so hopefully the momentum will continue with all the big stories about to reach their climax. Emmerdale seemed to get a boost from it aswell-8.4m for a pretty average episode is very good. Later on The Little House also seemed to get a nice boost-ITV dramas seem to be defying the pattern lately by actually increasing (DCI:Banks, Downton and now Little House).

    Decent ending for Spooks, picking up from last week and surprising to see Coppers increase to 3m. It's been a while since CH4 had 3m for a new factual series! Even Robson increased (maybe due to the Harry Hill feature?:p), but The Gadget Show is looking a little low this series.

    I'm surprised The Gadget Show is doing as well as it is. It's not very good at the minute. It could be saved, but some major changes are needed.

    Does anyone have the ratings for Doctors (13:45-14:15, BBC One) and Eric Cantona: Looking for Manchester (22:35-23:20, ITV1)? I would appreciate it a lot, thanks!

    OK for Corrie, but nothing exceptional given the massively-trailed passing of one of the show's longest-serving and most popular characters. Only 1.2m ahead of an ordinary EE episode. I think they would have hoped for 12m.

    Bit of a weak send-off too, I thought - poor Bill Tarmey, he deserved better from Granada.

    Despite the extra Corrie viewers leaving the telly on the same side for the following drama, Spooks still did great - as did Coppers on C4! :eek:

    Decent night all round for BBC1/2.

    Are we sure that BBC1HD figures are being included yet? I see DMN's breakdown doesn't specifically state "HD included".

    Yes, other wise all of BBC1's figures would be down week on week. BBC1 HD is very clearly being bundled in with BBC1's overnights, like ITV1 HD was with ITV1 before April this year.

    Really? I thought it was a very good send off, bending the rules of soap slightly to give the viewers what they would like to see. Was a much better send off than Barbara Windsor's which was I thought was very disappointing. There's someone who definitely deserved better. I read on the Digital Spy soaps section that it got 11.6m ( i know they have it all down to the minute and tape checked or whatever!) so do we think that might go to 12m in the end?

    I thought it was just Cowell's vehicles you had issues with but you clearly will never give credit where it may be due if that credit may be directed at ITV.

    Jack's exit has received near-unanimous praise from critics and fans but of course, it's weak to you isn't it! :D

    11.6m on Digital Spy's Soap section excludes the last 5 minutes, so that is for 20:30 to 20:55. I imagine it'll be over 12 million in the officials. ITV Press Office on Twitter reports a peak of 12.3m for the second episode.

    Hello all,

    Just a quickie. ITV press office has just tweeted that 12.3 million viewers (peak) tuned in for Jack Duckworth’s last moments on Coronation Street.

    DS quotes 11.6m average...

    That seems a bit of an unfair analysis given that it beat Barbara Windor's Eastenders send off hands down. Also the tape checked rating for last night came in at 11.64m (44%), which is a bit closer to that 12m mark of which you speak.

    But that Sky1 rating is absolutely dreadful. :eek:

    About the third primetime repeat for a two or three year old show.

    It did the rounds on Sky Real Lives as well and it's been on Sky3.

    TV Burp picked up on it first time round.

    That would suggest F1 is the early 'leader' in terms of ratings on BBC1 HD.

    Except I'm not sure what that means for the current ratings, do they include HD or not? Because the F1 rating I thought was actually poor?! Confused much.

    Of course Danielle Nagler has said she gets her figures from other sources as well as BARB. Perhaps Sky gave her some data?

    An excellent night for all the terrestrials in the 9pm hour. Every channel will be pleased with their figures, probably C4 with Coppers the most.

    Decent enough for Corrie, I suppose 11m would have been the minimum target. Although, I seem to remember Vera's exit getting a bit more.

    A bit unfair also comparing Jack's exit in Corrie to Peggy's exit in Eastenders. The Corrie episode was on a very cold, wet November Monday night. EE was on a milder, early September night which was also on a Friday against the Big Brother finale.

    The following is now confirmed by DigiGuide:

    I'm a Celebrity... Scheduling
    20/11 - 21:20 to 22:20
    21/11 - 21:00 to 22:30
    22/11 - 21:00 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street unaffected
    23/11 - 21:00 to 22:00
    24/11 - not on
    25/11 - 20:00 to 21:00 and 21:30 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street affected
    26/11 - 21:00 to 22:30 --> Coronation Street unaffected

    As rumoured yesterday, the following is confirmed:

    Thursday 25th November 2010
    19:00 - Emmerdale
    20:00 - I'm a Celebrity...
    21:00 - Coronation Street
    21:30 - I'm a Celebrity...
    22:00 - ITV News a Ten

    This is to avoid Coronation Street clashing with EastEnders.

    News at Ten is dropped from the Friday schedule to make way for a 90 minute edition of I'm a Celebrity.

    The Cube to have Celebrity Special on 21st November at 7pm.
    Provisional schedules for 27th November onwards out:

    - The X Factor is down for 19:45 to 21:30 on that night which I don't quite understand, because its 25 minutes longer than the previous week. Either way, its a 10 minute clash with Strictly at the moment. I think The X Factor will change so its on from 19:45 to 21:00 to accompany a 90 minute I'm a Celebrity because of the eviction. Anyway:

    I'm a Celebrity... Provisional Scheduling
    27/11 - 21:30 to 22:30
    28/11 - 21:00 to 22:30
    29/11 - 20:30 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street 2nd episode bumped
    30/11 - 20:30 to 22:00 --> New You've Been Framed! on at 20:00
    01/12 - 20:30 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street double-bill on from 19:30 to 20:30 (Monday 2nd and Thursday)
    02/12 - 20:30 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street on at 20:00 (Friday 1st)
    03/12 - 20:30 to 22:00 --> Coronation Street on at 19:30 (Friday 2nd)

    All Star Family Fortunes takes The Cube's slot from 28th November at 19:15.

    Quite mad at ITV if the above scheduling turns out to be true. The last thing that Coronation Street needs in my view is to be thrown around the schedule.

    Provisional schedules for 4th December will be out by the end of the week which will make for interesting reading.

    I had no idea the F1 was so popular here or is it just because it's a dramatic end to the season?

    The 5.1m rating for Brazil is actually the lowest Brazil rating since 2006. (in 2008, it had 8.8m)

    I think the OP was just saying the exit was better... nothing really to do with ratings. What did that EE episode get btw?
