I think this is a genuine trailer.
Sacrilege!

ETA seems wrong to me too
Kind of speaks volumes really.
Indeed It looks dreadful.
But still...the original is a classic which can never be improved upon.
it would of been cool imo for Lindsay Lohan and some of the Original cast members to come back and set it in uni or something but no they go and Ruin it.
I know Lindsay's going through a bad time but IF Hollywood really cared they could of waited till she got better and the sequel IF good would help her career again.
Glen Coco would be turning over in their grave.
That's not right! I mean, why?
Nah, he's still over the moon with his 4 candy canes.
And to think one of the girls left desperate housewives to do that movie!
I know. She should have stayed with DW.
I think you mean 'fugly'.
Unfortunately I could only last about 15 minutes.
The characters are just totally unbelievably and over-the-top, and never in a funny way but in a desperate, bad-acting kind of way.
The main 'hero' girl was just starting at the school and was obviously supposed to be the cool tomboy type to face-off against the Mean Girls. But she was not likeable at all, just miserable and angry. Everytime she was on-screen I was irritated by her.
And the 'Regina George' head Mean Girl character was just far too nasty and like an actual bully.
The 'dumb' Mean Girl used the phrase "I don't have to act dumb" in response to someone saying "Don't try to act dumb". Like she's making fun of the fact she's an actress playing a dumb character in a film. It just seemed so out-of-character and so cringy.
I literally had enough when one of the desperately over-the-top outcasts at the school (who seemed to fall over every few seconds and managed to get covered in various food/drink, representing the fact that no-one acknowledged her), she was getting yelled at by the main Mean Girl for feeding her dog while she's down on the floor after falling over again. The Mean Girl was almost spitting venom - 'Don't even look at me, don't even breathe the same air as me'.
Ugh, I'd had enough by then. Since I really didn't like anyone, as anyone who wasn't totally unlikeable was far too pathetic to be taken seriously. I felt embarrassed watching it even though I was by myself.
Just had to get that off my chest.
If there was something positive I really wanted to find it, but quite frankly there wasn't.
Okay so the headmaster from the original film was in it, but maybe that's not even a positive thing for him.
