Old Capital FM DJ's and where they are today?

Was just thinking about all the DJ's that have been on Capital FM over the years and where they are now.

Like the likes of John Sachs, Mick Brown (who was back for a while a few years ago, then went again), Pat Sharp and more recently Neil Bentley.

Any ideas where and what some of them are doing now.

I used to love listening to John Sachs in the late 80's!!

Can't understand the reason he left Capital in the first place. Always thought his afternoon show was very good.

    RE: John Sachs.

I have fond memories of him on Radio 2 Sunday mornings with a show that would fit today's format more than it did the format of when it was on-air.

I heard he had some involvement with Holiday FM as well as doing voiceovers.

I gather it wasn't Neil's decision to leave Capital - his contract wasn't renewed.

John Sachs - loadsavoiceovers and is also a partner in the management agency, Blackburn Sachs Associates and their VO agency Talking Heads.

I had forgot about him. Funny how certain DJ's leave radio stations and it's not until someone mention's their name that you realise they have gone.

How about the likes of Neil Long, Simon Ross (Club 9-5-8!), Gary King, Simone Bienne (Late 'n' Live with Neil Francis), and Debbie Mac?!

The first three I grew up with in the good old days of Capital FM, and Neil and Simone were a must-listen!

I found this old thread. Just thought as Londons No 1 Hit Music station Capital FM is merging then you might like to contribute to this.

Chris Tarrant has been heard on Radio 2 and was on Smooth radio.

Lynn Parsons is on Smooth radio, and was on Radio 2 for a while

Chris Moyles is now on Radio 1

    Gary King - Jazz FM

    Neil Long - Jackie

He now runs Yellow-Media.co.uk, the Radio training courses company in Southend! And can be heard covering on Heart where ever he's needed!
