yeah, customs and excise have tight control over the whisky, he is not a big whisky fan either. I miss more the 50% discount we used to get in the body shop when he worked in that factory (came home sober but smelling like a big girls blouse!)

Its funny reading through this thread that so many ads featured here were never shown in Northern Ireland - R Whites being one. Probably to do with the fact that we didn't have English supermarkets here until about 15 years ago, so therefore wouldn't have had the same product range available in Dunnes or Crazy Prices or Stewarts as you had in Tesco or Sainsburys.
