Sainsbury's...who told them that music sounded Christmassy?

These adverts are winding me up so much they need their own thread. :D

Anyone else find the dirge music used in these inherently depressing? It doesn't make me feel remotely festive, more the opposite if anything. Worse, they are played so frequently.

Has to be the worst series of Christmas ads I can remember.

    I would consider' all through the night' to be an xmas carol, so I think it suits the advert just fine :)

    It sounds ok in the long advert but in the really short adverts for specific products it sounds absolutely awful. It's like listening to an old cat die or something. Certainly one of the worst, if not the worst Christmas ad this year. They really want to ditch their advertising agency, their ads during the rest of the year aren't much better.

    I hate the Co-op ads. They use the same music every year.

    The Celebrations ad must be at least six years old as well.
