I'm sorry to say that the programme is utter dross and it's so sad. The Two Ronnies were genius, the One Ronnie is lost without Barker. Absolutely dreadful and totally unfunny, I'm sooo disappointed. :(

I think most would agree that Barker was always the far funnier of the two.

Thought it looked good by the clips but the writing is dire. Who wrote this tripe? probably brydon/cordon etc.

Awful Ronnie Barker was the talent

Charlotte church is dire as well

me thinks she has a overinflated idea of her writing ability

I don't think it's done much for his credibility. Not a great birthday present. He would have been better off with the documentary and a appreciation clips show.

This programme is very unfunny and embarrasing.

Ronnie Corbett worked well with Ronnie Barker setting him up and playing the more straight man to him. Working along side unfunny one trick ponys like Walliams, Corden and co it just doesn't work.

The sketches being weak as pee isn't helping either! The opening one in the greengrocers and the optician restaurant ones have been the only non dire ones!

This is true and Barker also wrote most of the sketches, a very clever man.

I've flicked over a few times and their in nearly all the sketches. It's more like Little Britain featuring Ronnie Corbet.

I had very low expectations before watching this - and that Xbox joke would have been far funnier if the punchline hadn't been widely trailed beforehand - but there were a few good moments including that quiz show sketch which I thought was excellent.

Not great but some decent stuff. Some people love to moan about anything, even at Christmas.

I used to love watching The Two Ronnies but Ronnie Corbett's show tonight was crap, and i'm not suprised if Walliams/Lucas and Corden were involved as i don't find the three of them funny at all.

When will the BBC stop placating their former stars by giving them Christmas shows at peak times when they are no longer capable of delivering the goods? They did the same with Victoria Wood last year.

The viewers should come first, not their over the hill mates.

Peaked at Eggs Box 3.60, which drew a mild half-laugh from living room.

15 minutes later and 2 relatives asleep, we headed back to the kitchen to get the christmas pudding on.

    Absolutley dreadful.

Thanks for this. I was beginning to think I was the only one. I thought it was great Christmas day entertainment. Some great guests.

The greengrocers/blackberry sketch was hilarious and a good tribute to Four Candles I thought :) I liked the opticians restaurant sketch and the quiz show sketch too :D

What a shame since the blackberry sketch was pretty good.

Catherine Tate was poor in her timing, always a bit delayed. But that was the least of this shows problems!

James Corden is one of those great mysteries of the western world.

Watched ten minutes to give it a chance but had to bail out.

I thought it was alright. I've seen worse - It's Paul Burling, for example.

The show was Lucas & Walliams idea, and they part-wrote and executive produced it, so that explains their presence.

I thought it was a nice little nod to the past. Nothing spectacular, but that's why it was on at 5:10pm and not 8pm. It was hardly prime time.
