Judging your love of TFF and Pink Floyd I'm recommending Julian Cope's early stuff, Fried or the first Teardrop Explodes album (Kilimanjaro) but considering you love of the Chemical Brothers or The Prodigy you might want to check out Orbital.
Listening to Drake, Sage Francis, Kanye West, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, The Sisters Of Mercy and The Cure.
she's worth it, she's a cool lady and actually made Hip Hop listenable. More than that she's combined Funk,Synth, Blues and Jazz elements into her album and it really flows and tells a great story and i fuuuckin' love her style and voice.
Think James Brown meets David Bowie in terms of style...it's THAT outrageous!

Listening to Drake, Sage Francis, Kanye West, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, The Sisters Of Mercy and The Cure.
From the mentions of The Cure, and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, can I recommend you the previously mentioned Best Coast, and Frankie Rose And The Outs.
So no one recommended me something to listen to? I don't think people get this game, probably too thick to read the first post properly.
I love the fact that all the other posts have ignored your list and are recommending songs to newer lists!
OK, I'll be nice. I'll recommend you some artists.
It seems you like the more inventive, edgy side of pop, so I think you'll definitely like Laurie Anderson. She's not new, though, and is on the experimental side of pop, but seeing as you like Florence and Janelle Monae, I think you'll definitely like her, but try her old stuff first like her Mister Heartbreak album.
Also, as you like Marina, try Kate Bush-Hounds of Love and Running up the Hill.
Cyndi Lauper, try her 'best of' album and her newer Bring ya to the Brink album (especially Into the Nightlife, Echo and Rocking Chair) for your Madonna and Kylie tendencies.
Something new I suggest Clare Maguire and Sharon Van Etten (only heard Peace Signs but you could check out her album Epic).
My list:
Kid Sister
Cyndi Lauper
Suzanne Vega
Lissie
Hilary Duff
Bjork
Lucinda Williams
Madonna
Shakira
Laurie Anderson
Comments
Lady GaGa
Paloma Faith
