I'll settle for a whisky , but that's quite funny, sitting in on New Years Eve listening to Radio Scotland! Maybe BBC TV or STV on Freesat would be a better option to see the Hogmanay celebrations.
Or is that London. and he was not supposed to put that info out nationwide?
Ha ha! I meant while dozing off in bed
I'd imagine if ever there was a time for 12 hours of networking on Heart then it will be tomorrow from 4pm.
4-midnight in the East Midlands.....
Who is Jason Derulo, and why is he on Kiss?
Anyway, BFBS are going with various Heavens Gate pre-recorded DJs from about 9pm, but not too sure what they have down as being on from 3-9pm
3FM from the Netherlands will be live from Sensation in Dussedlorf if you have your Internet Radio on (still waiting for mine )
How can you bring in a year that's about to finish
Nice to see some dance music rather than RnB on Radio 1 this year!
STV looks dull. BBC Scotland looks... much the same as last year, and the year before, and,...
BBC/MG ALBA on satellite will probably have the best TV offerings of this genre.
On Radio, BBC Radio Scotland have a "hogmanay special" with Bryan Burnett & Janice Forsyth.
Radio 3 just after midnight looks good - "World on 3" - Mary Ann Kennedy
And Celtic Music Radio will have Gordon Hotchkiss and Liz Clark live...
Kiss website, also doesn't show anything about Jason Derulo either, just Kissmix 7pm-6am, that is the same as what they did for Christmas Eve.
You know that's gonna be good, I know it's on line at www.80sandmore.co.uk but are any FM stations running the show?
But the 'light stuff' is the music that makes Radio 2 distinctive and caters for audiences not served elsewhere.
Pity, the prats at commercial radio who bleet on about Radio 2 nicking their audience don't accept this, and try to offer evening shows that may attract some of the Radio 2 market they crave. However in the case of my local Heart it seems that creative evenings are Club Classics and after a three hour gap...non stop...er Club Classics. Really trying to be Global's Radio 2 here aren't we?
