They're all on Twitter, so some people have been asking (Claire mostly) if its true. Wonder if any of them will respond to this rumour. Faye has said shes got various theatre things planned in the future, but atm is taking a rest, she does the odd private gig herself too.

Wohooo! It's a charity gig, supposedly. Where do we get tickets?

It's funny how people feel the need to rain on other's parades. I would never EVER bother posting something negative about a group I didn't like or a movie I was never going to see.

The attitude of some people is baffling.

If it's Sky organising the concert too, it'll be a shambles!

Any live event Sky does always ends up with poor organisation and bad coverage.

To raise some money for charity, it would seem. :)

I sooo hope this is true.
It will be good to re-live the old days.
I know music has moved on, but steps still have a huge fan base in the uk so i no many people will welcome this news, i myself will be diggin the old cd';s out and having a dance along.

It's been taken off! Could that be a good thing?

    Here's what she said:

"Hey tweeters- Sorry to tell you that there are no plans set in place for a Steps reunion. Thanks for the enthusiasm tho! Crikey! xxx"

Well i'd say as long as they don't make any more records its fine, but there are plenty of others doing that these days so what difference would it make.

lol they weren't that bad as far as cheesy pop music goes.

Forums are for the expression of ALL opinions, not just the ones of the fluffy, positive variety. Unless it's an appreciation thread, but this is not, so your post is just an over-the-top kneejerk reaction to people not liking the same thing as you do. If you're so sensitive to what's nothing more than perfectly normal discussion, maybe you should try starting an appreciation thread and staying in there?
