I vaguely remember Nightingales. Weren't they security guards? I think Robert Lindsay and David Threlfall were in it, weren't they? I don't think I liked it at the time, but I must've been young(ish) then:)

I absolutely loved this. So many scenes made me genuinely LOL. I nearly choked on my coffee when the 'shoplifter' turned out to be his son The staged robbery was hilarious, when he sprayed the fluid into his eyes, classic!

Damn - this sounds funny and I don't have time to watch it as there are quite a few episodes. BBC4 is putting so much good stuff on at the moment that I can't keep up along with the TV I usually watch! Have just caught up with Jar City as part of the Iceland season and also want to catch The Viking Sagas tonight.

I have worked for jobsworths like that in many uk corporations ...its so close to reality its almost reassuringly documentary .....:D
Customer care the priority but only if its by the corporate book....no improvising or personal interpretation or heaven forbid common sense.....
