The one programme I'm really enjoying on Sky Atlantic at the moment is ER, right from ep 1,it's becoming my 2pm fix! I got into ER much later and it's interesting to see some of the earlier storylines...and George Clooney is just lovely..:o

It was never the same when Dr Ross left and Carter wasn't in it Although Dr Kovac was rather lovely I always thought of him as the new guy lol .
In the later episodes Ray was my favourite. One of the last episodes that he appeared in was one of my all time favourites. I must've watched it about 20 times!
The Good Wife, Julianna Margulies and 'Susan'.......for me...;)
Have been dipping in and out off this, when it's on at 6pm....it is Drama, at it's best.
It was from series 3 episode 21, The episode after the attack on Mark anyone know where I can see it? The episode repeat on Sat afternoon starts from episode 22..:(
Shane West is a bit yummy. And he's back on TV now in Nikita, yay!
I started watching ER around the time when Lucy(?) and Carter got stabbed. And watched it religiously ever since. I've not seen all the earlier episodes, but have seen some. I was going to watch them all on Sky Atlantic but didn't have time in the end.
snap I started watching ER that season too & watched it all the way through till the end (even though it wasn’t as good in the last season).
I have all 15 seasons on dvd & Im currently up to season 5 on my re-watch Ive loved seeing it from the beginning and seeing how certain characters changed over the years especially Carter
I never watched from the beginning the first time around like others have said i think around the thime carter was stabbed for me too.
Now i Sky + it every day a 9am and then watch on a weekend...
I never realised that Jorja Fox or Kristen Dunst had been in it.
Its been really weird seeing all the actors who have gone onto other shows appear in the early seasons
Yeah Bradley Whitford was one I didn't know about. Also first episode had Frank, who later becomes a desk clerk. And recently they had a woman who later becomes a come for a fair few episodes in the later seasons.
I am loving the repeats of this as I loved the earlier ER. But it is disappointing it is rushing so quickly - already on the 4th season
I hadn't realised she was in it so early on either!
Loving seeing this in HD, great series. Makes me smile to think of
This is one series I wouldn't mind a reboot with new cast.

Watching it again reminded me of Casualty/the Bill.
Yes thats how I feel about ER too, too emotional to watch again, but I did love that show AND amazingly something that was allowed to grow and develop its characters and storylines by the TV execs, it stayed strong through all 15 series.
I had forgotten how good the early series were and I think that the characters from the early series like Carol Hathaway, Doug Ross, Mark Green, Susan and Carter etc seemed to gel in a way that we didn't get in later series (although there were some great characters later on as well).
I did stop watching this about series 9 or 10 I think and then started again for the last couple of seasons, so I hope they do show this all the way through so I can see the ones I missed.
snap I hated Brenner & never took to him:mad:
I liked both Pratt & Morris & I loved how their characters grew & ended up
I remember even feeling so sorry in the end for that perennial bad guy Romano, as he struggled to face the truth about his future and his love for Elizabeth.
5 star stuff throughout.
Excuse me forgetting, because I should remember, but Brenner was the Aussie in love with Neela, right?
What made your spoiler worse, was that it was the last season, and that's how they started it!
I loved the bit when Frank patted his arm as they put him in the lift. Shows how Frank was appreciative of Pratt being there for him when he had his heart attack.
