Sounds totally like something you'd get from a British Chinese takeaway

I can;t find mango powder anywhere. Does anyone kow where I can get it. I tried the world food aisles but tnothing
Is it called something esle?
I haven't seen it around here but I did manage to pick up some Chaat Masala
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaat_masala
I know it's not the same but it does contain mango powder and does have a more tangy taste than other masala powders that i've had.
I've read you can substitute lemon or lime for it. I wonder if you could use lemon pepper?
I use lemon juice as a substitute but I always feel I might be missing out.
I have chaat masala. It smells of rotten eggs haha. Nice though
I regularly make homemade curry and do chips with it I do Chips with lasagne.
chips with peas and fish regularly.

It's very yummy as in artery-clogging yummy - thickly cut fries with squeaky fresh cheese curds topped with rich, hot gravy.
Yeah, orange chips are amazing.
Try it sprinkled on fruit salad, it's really nice. Chaat massala also contains armchoor, so the tastes are pretty similar. It's also nice sprinkled on fried batter fish.
I've seen a spam and fries pizza on DDD.
Techinically when you Google them they aren't fries but when they are served at the wonderful Caravan restaraunt they are basically skinny chips served in some kind of mayo-esque sauce (it is much more than just mayo though) and there is also minature slithers of bacon.
Gypsies... caravan... 'some kind of mayo-esque sauce'.. You're not really selling to me, I must admit
Similar to the UK fave of bologaise on chips with cheese.
Those look amazing.
This thread is making me very hungry, keep the recipes coming!
