Laptop - it has all our children photos stored on it and although they are backed up to disks the laptop is downstairs so easier to grab!!
Wedding photo albums (they aren't on the laptop)
2 framed embroideries of Winnie The Pooh and friends that my nanny sewed, hanging in my daughters bedroom though they never met her. (Counting them as one choice).
My 5 month old son's supply of powdered milk as he's allergic to cow's milk and could go into anaphylactic shock if we couldn't get to a pharmacy.
Can't think of anything else as would all be either covered by insurance or is a load of old tat...hmm, maybe time for a spring clean!!!
1. My cats
2. My dog
3. My lappy as it has all my photos on
4. My laser projectors
5. My dishwasher (which would probably be first to be rescued. I hyperventilate at the mere thought of washing up )
the cat
some underwear and some shoes
my teddy that my grandfather gave me as a baby (it's irreplacable)
my handbag
my phone although I would be using it to call 999
I've 5 kids. Although it might be a toss up between a random one of them and the dog.
Same - although I've got 3 cats and 2 dogs so it would depend on who had caused the least trouble that day!
However, assuming that children and pets are already safely out of the burning house, I'd take ............ ummm considering everything is insured and can be replaced, I'm discovering that there isn't much I'm that fussed about.
1) TIffany's necklace and earrings my OH bought me when he got back from Afghanistan
2) Laptop - its got my Dissertation on it, and has to be submitted in a couple of days
3) Mobile phone - to beg favours and clothes from my mates
4) My family history file - would take ages to research that again
5) Framed photo of my grandparents (the only one I have)
1. My pair of B&W 685 Speakers
2. my Orange guitar amp
3. my fender american strat
4. my computer base unit
5. the pioneer hifi receiver (sx850) from the lounge- won't soughtafter as it is and ive done alot of work on it!
Would chuck it in my car and get the car away from the house coz theres no way i would want that getting damaged!
I struggle to think of 5 things that I value enough ,that can't be replaced .I guess I don't own a enough nice things .I mean I'd cry if I lost my books ,and photos but they would be impractical to carry about in a fire situation! I guess I'd take my laptop because It's always next too me,mobile and I guess mum and dad .
