    4 threads and counting.

But for the record, RIP Jimmy.

May not have been on our screens for a while but he was still heavily involved with his charity work.

I fear yes.....but for the time being let's not forget all those hospital visits he made without any publicity.

Strange that BBC News haven't reported it. Just listened to the latest BBC News on the radio and they made no mention of it at all......which is very odd considering Saville did most of his work with them.

Didn't someone suggest in a thread here some months back that some seriously interesting stuff would come out but not until after he'd popped his clogs...?

Radio 5 actually broke into the football commentary at about 3:05 to announce the news. Normally only royal deaths are important enough to interrupt the footy for...

I wrote to Jim'll fix it and asked if I could be Dr Who's assistant(Tom Baker).
    I never got a reply.

    Loved him on TOTP.

I'll never forget his iconic image in the 70's with his Cigar and jewlery.

Very sad news. Jim'll Fix It was a big part of my childhood :(

Absolute legend of British TV and radio. I'll miss his chunky jewellery. And let's hope smoking is allowed in Heaven as he wouldn't be Sir Jim without a huge cigar sticking out of his mouth

    RIP Sir Jim
