Bond 23 - my suggestion for the title
http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4984/bondposter1custom.jpg
I think that sounds rather cool and looks great on a poster. I didn't create the original poster, I borrowed it and changed a few bits.
I think that title would work better than Skyfall. I accept MY NAME IS BOND not the most original title but it's an iconic phrase connected with the franchise and that's why I think it works.

Roger Moore definitely said "My name is Bond......." maybe not in every film he did but he has said it.
And anyway...who the hell cares about the title? Since when does the title have any bearing on the content and quality of the movie?
You're right about the relevance of the title but the title announcement often makes it seem more real for Bond fans, a bit of a mini-buzz.
Are not not allowed just a teeny bit of self-indulgence Mr Grumby?
Well, Quantum of Solace was a pretty terrible title.....

Thanks. I can't take all the credit though as the original image was done by someone else. I just added the top text and a few other bits and bobs.
James Bond has said "My name is Bond" several times - as seen in this clip:

so the title is faithful to the character. If you think it's a cheesy title, fair enough. Can't please everyone.
I love Bond films but those titles are quite funny, especially the last two
Me too but none of Brosnan's and not many of Moore's.
If any more occur to me I'll be back.:)
Not only was it an original Ian Fleming title, which always makes it special, but it was a brilliant title.
I could not disagree more. As a devotee of the Ian Feming books, I feel no other film has ever quite captured the essence of Bond's character - "a blunt instrument", in Fleming's words, of his government who kills people for a salary - as Quantum did. I appreciate why those weaned on the movies and who are used to Bond as a wise-cracking, tuxedoed runway model brandishing silly gadgets, would have problems with it. But with all due respect to those people, they really don't know who Bond is at all.
Fair point. I am happy to confess to never having read a single Bond book and only have the films as a reference. Although I am most certainly not someone who likes the "wise-cracking, tuxedoed runway model brandishing silly gadgets". I loved Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale and I loved the story. It was the story that fell flat for me in QofS not the way Bond was portrayed. Roger Moore's incarnation of Bond is in my opinion the worst. I much prefer Connery, Dalton and Craig.
I think the only ones left unused are:
The Property of a Lady
The Hildebrand Rarity
Risico
007 In New York
The only one I could see working as a film title is The Property of a Lady, though they already used that phrase as part of the plot in Octopussy.
Then again, I never thought they'd use Quantum of Solace, so who knows.

There are a few that I can find:
'The Hildebrand Rarity'
'Risico'
'The Property of a Lady'
'Agent 007 in New York'
Following that there are numerous Bond book titles written by authors other than Fleming. Titles that IMHO sound good for potential films are:
Brokenclaw
Nobody Lives for Ever
The Man with the Red Tattoo
Devil May Care
Doesn't work.
Cool poster - well done
I'm sure Moore has said "My name is Bond, James Bond" - cant remember which film
I loved the end bit of Casino Royale when Bond wounds Mr. White and says:
"The name's Bond, James Bond"
They don't need to. It's a nice gimmick but the title shouldn't be restricted to whether it can incorporate a 007 graphic.
