Quite aware that the story is covered by the worst comic book in circulation, but it's still kinda'a interesting.

Bang on the head, knocks sense in to gay man, who finally realises / admits his true sexual orientation.
It's certainly been very good for him.
"Repressed gay man accepts his sexuality and comes out following life threatening injury; not really newsworthy is it?"
I see he hasn't tried to sue the gym for damages though.
Indeed. Pride Power List 2011
Good job he's done it now before getting to 40-50 and regretting throwing his best years away on a lie.
Oh please. he made a bob or two from thinking of a story the papers would buy. Good on him. Well done that man
Why on earth were you reading it then?
Good luck to him though if he's happy in his new lifestyle
I wonder what will happen if he get's another bang on the head though?
Quite. Headline should read 'canny gay gets cash payout from Daily Mail'. Serves them bloody right.
whilst pondering his sexuality....
It may not be as simple as that. The change is quite remarkable. He didn't have to give up rugby to be gay. It's quite extraordinary.
Indeed. He can enjoy the untold pleasures of the male flesh!
It's not a "lifestyle"
Seems more likely that his near-death experience made him realise that life's too short to spend it hiding your sexuality in order to fit in with your peer group.
Unless you know otherwise of course
