I imagine Sherlock will be on at 9pm instead. The time given I think is a mistake - it's the same as the time given for Saturday's episode (which is 90 minutes rather than the 50 minutes indicated), and will be probably be amended at a later date.
The cast includes Michael French (Jordan), William Beck (Dylan), Charlotte Salt (Sam), Suzannne Packer (Tess), Sunetra Sarker (Zoe), Michael Obiora (Lloyd), Madeleine Mantock (Scarlett) and Derek Thompson (Charlie), and introduces Oliver Coleman as Tom. Guest stars: Marshall Lancaster (Keith), Colin Buchanan (Graham).
Brilliant, thats fab! Can't wait till Casualty returns in January!
Looks like romance could be on the cards for Nick!
'Death and Doughnuts' - 14th January 2011 (Digital Spy)
It's the day after the Silverton explosion and Jordan introduces Tom, who is formally joining the team. Tom soon finds he has a mystery on his hands when a family who were involved in the explosion end up back in the ED with unexplained injuries.
When the young son of the family is kidnapped, all becomes clear, and as the child faces extreme danger, trusty Big Mac is in the right place at the right time.
Meanwhile, Dylan accuses Sam of interfering when her attempts to reunite a dying patient with his ex-wife go awry when it turns out that it was his former lover he actually wanted to see. But can Sam's meddling actually have done some good after all?
Elsewhere, Jordan's cool is uncharacteristically ruffled when he meets attractive young police chief DCI Rippon. Could there be romance in the air for Holby's head honcho?
it looks strange, i wish the bbc would release propper pictures of it though.
The building in that video is presumably another part of the hospital, rather than the outside of the ED, which is aparently a replica of the old one.
It would be annoying for the general look of the building to change again. It was bad enough continuity when it changed from a Victorian/Edwardian building to a modern one a few years ago.
There's a new casualty advert being shown on BBC 1. I screamed when I saw it. Actually can't wait for 7th janurary now
Was it good? Who was in the advert? X Like you, I can't wain for Casualtys return and I'm glad we are going to see the lovely Michael French in Eastenders as well!

Thought that was a nice touch actually with the upcoming move of the set to Cardiff
Didn't Casualty start with Charlie (wooden) Fairhead driving across the Clifton suspension bridge also driving a VW ?
Yes, it did.
Wasn't there an RTA and he was late for his first shift or something?
And over on the Casualty website, at 55 seconds into the 'New Arrivals' video there's a quick glimpse of the new set by the looks of it!

According to Holby's line producer, Lynn Grant, they were referring to a Temporary ED
