A homemade video for Miss America, with travelogue footage from NYC and starring a waxwork Taylor Swift? This sounds incredible!
Does this mean they also filmed some lipsyncing of the song when they were in New York, like they did with the Lipstick video in Paris?
Some fans on Twitter have wondered if this will be a single release, but I think that's very unlikely. It seems more like a low budget (no budget?) video they're just making for fun.
I just hope the "coming soon" means sooner rather than later.
just so long as the record company don't botch up this time and prerelease a sample! Surely they will have learned from mistakes.
Let's hope so.....nothing's straightforward on planet Jedward though is it?
Re the Miss America thing - I didn't take it to mean that they were making a proper video even......I think they just made that short one to amuse themselves and the fans. But I could be wrong, it has been known to happen
When shall we start annoying the regulars on the ESC thread? They usually start a sub-forum on the TV forum before the contest, don't they, so we can start some new threads, can't wait
I think Eurostar said someone who used to be in B*witched is taking part in eurosong, but I've forgotten who it is now - must pay more attention

The two sisters Marc : Edel and Keavy Lynch (Shane Lynch from Boyzone is their brother)
Yeah it was a lovely moment when Edward could bring the cartwheels back. But the first Irish tour he was leaping over flights of stairs, jumping off speakers, cartwheels right across the stage and knee slides. He cartwheels now but he doesn't jump off the extreme heights he used to!
He did rush back to work so he quite probably still has some problems with it and has to be a bit careful. but I don't notice him limping now and last year at panto I did!
Well this is random but I'm re-watching CBB and can't help but notice how interested are the twins (specially an Edward with a permanent raised eyebrow ) in all the "branding yourselves" stuff. At 6:30: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6o39eBIt8w (this vid is pure gold, it also has the electroshock task)
Oh thanks! Are they the only other competing at the moment?
That's the only rumoured names so far. Sharon Condon of the group Wonderland was also going to compete but changed her mind when she realised she had no chance of beating Jedward.
Surely they're not worried about Eurosong? Unless the song's poor - and why would it be? - or someone else comes up with a cracker, I can't see them being beat.
agree. Edward needs to relax and make videos))) - the preview of Miss America is amazing.

so he is now better? this is what you mean? or you mean he is not as athletic as he was before injury? or you just constate the fact?
Edward need have no worries about losing the Eurosong televote : it's not going to happen
I guess the one thing they're worried about is that too many people will think, "Oh, Jedward are a shoo-in to win, so I won't bother voting", and so some other act ends up getting the majority of votes.
They only won by two points in 2011 (although that was partially due to being penalised for the song leak), so there is a precedent for it being a close competition.
I've seen a few interviews where they've mentioned the importance of people to vote for them. And that's the thing: they will still need lots of votes to win.

I think some fans get over excited at the drop of a hat sometimes when the guys tweet or taking things they say literally! I must admit to doing so myself! However, I'm wondering whether it is somehow linked to the 500k video, would be a bit of a change from dancing in undies :D
Or as Marc says, just little short to entertain 'coming soon' doesn't necessarily mean that with the twins as we know

The danger is that people assume they will win comfortably and don't bother to vote and the fact that the bookies have them such firm favourites to represent Ireland might actually work against them. Jed's have been bookies favourites before and been pipped at the post.
I think it will help them if the other 5 songs are all of an equal standard. If there is just one other song that is really good and a standout. it could become a two horse race and those that don't like John and Edward might anti-vote for the other song. It would be better perhaps if it is a three horse race, as the Jed fandom would then be up against a split vote, making victory so much easier!

Ah! That's a possibility! I never thought of the 500k video! Jed Fandom has come to expect undies but you never know!:D

Mm, last year Nikki Kavanagh was the serious competition that got Jedfans fired up. I'm hoping Barbarellas will be good competition for them this time around... but not too good!
Meanwhile, I happened across some reviews of the panto from audience members (bottom of the page). They're largely extremely positive, and most of the negative ones are just complaints about the theatre seating, rather than anything about the performance. It's especially great reading the reviews from parents who had only gone along for their kids, only to have a totally brilliant time!
@InVy I think his knee is probably as better as it is going to get by now. It's fine unless he pushes it too far ( it's probably not as good a knee as it once was) so he can do something really athletic but then he can't do it again for a while.
Sometimes Ed will join John in taking a flying leap off stage and sometime he won't - hard to know if mob or knee is what makes the difference.
last year at panto he was limping a bit, but he'd banged it a few nights before apparently. But I didn't notice any limp this year.
Too many times they have been the bookies favourites to win - only to not actually win, yet still get out of not winning everything you'd have expected the winner to have.

pity that we can not copy it and translate it per google translater
I've discovered the Korean for Jedward: 제드워드의 (this might not show up on some people's computers)
If you do a search for that, then run the results page through Google translate, it will give you a good idea of what Koreans think of J&E. Some things I've discovered:
- They're best known for their version of Everyday Superstar and Lipstick being used in a Hyundai ad.
- Korean music blogs prefer photos where J&E look really beautiful rather than the craZy pics we see a lot more of.
- They are mentioned as having been on X Factor, which seems to work in their favour.
- They are usually described as British!
- Best badly translated description: "completely pale young, handsome twins."
- Weirdest badly translated line from a review of Planet Jedward: "Aging and impression of subtle rather than spread the Slow Food Fast Food peripheral impromptu sex"
I'll be very interested to see how the Korean takeover turns out this year!

Oh yeah, accurate
hahahaha just kidding, the korean for Jedward I was using was 제드워드 and yeah lots of modeling pics (above all, from the twilight photoshoot). I think they have that kind of androgyne beauty that works so well in Asia. They're crazy, they're fun, I think Asia would love them.

I am not sure they will have any competition at all for Eurosong at this rate!
but we can't take things for granted on PJ

That was a very unfortunate error : the song was leaked by the record company a mere 48 hours before the TV preview of the songs by RTE.
