Er...hallo! Have just discovered this thread, i.e. have already submitted my first post via the radio section today (under LBC chit chat)! I listen a lot to radio (mostly LBC, radio 5), watch some TV. I'm artistic, creative (have been a singer/songwriter, done stand up comedy - so you can expect the odd quip or two). Sections on this site that immediately appeal being radio, general discussion, showbiz, advice, and food and drink. What a great forum! Glad I finally stumbled across it.
hello DS users. I've been quietly looking for a TV related forum for awhile now, as I watch quite alot of shows that no one else I know watches. This unfortuantly means that when I get super excited about a new episode that I've just watched my poor put upon fiance has to feign interest and desperately try to remember which show is which and who is who within that show. So I'm very excited to finally be able to chat to other people about my favourite shows (and there are quite a few!)
I did use to post a while ago, but thought I would re-sign back up from scratch using my nickname that everyone seems to call me. It's nice to be on a forum where you can post without people jumping on your back, acting like pretentious ....., well, I'll let you work out the other word to end that sentence!
I look forward to getting involved in plenty of discussions!
I'm John. I'm a clinical hypnotherapist....and a fully qualified driving instructor. No surprise that I have my own hypnotherapy CD for driving test nerves:D
I'm interested in a lot of things, like music (I play electric guitar for my own amusement) I'm on the board of directors at my local football club and I'm the resident DJ. On football matchdays I make the announcements on the tannoy and do various jobs around the club.
I've had 2 run-ins with cancer. 2-nil to me (hurray) all clear 100%. If you are really that interested, and want to put a 'real face' to the name, I have a video on youtube entitled Nervebusters which is about part of my hypno business.
Hope to be active on here. I'm not the 'lurking' type!
Hi all!
Made an account a few weeks ago, and have already made a few posts, before I realised there was a thread to introduce myself! Doh!
Anyhoo...been a lurker on here for years! Finally thought it was time to set up roots here!
Look forward to chatting to you all!!!
I should tell you a bit about myself too, I suppose! So, my name is Tom and I'm the forums manager. Being the forum manager involves managing the forums (surprise!) and supporting the users and our moderation staff. I worked with DS as a moderator from 2007-2009 before becoming Forums Manager and, before that, was the owner of a few fan-forums for online games and the like.
When I'm online I'll spend time on Twitter, playing WoW (I play a shadow priest for those that are wondering), and, of course, reading various forums. I'll always have music playing and love listening to Madonna, Metric, Garbage, Placebo, Pink, No Doubt and lots more. I don't watch much TV but am sometimes sucked in by Big Brother and X Factor and will always stop to watch Absolutely Fabulous or Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! should I see an ep while flicking through channels.
Offline, hmm... I work from home the majority of the time and spend a fair bit of time dissuading my two cats from sleeping on my keyboard or printer. Outside of work hours I like spending evenings with friends, a film and a bottle (or two, often more) of wine. Summer is always nice for BBQs and abusing the beach.
This is starting to sound a bit like a dodgy dating profile so I think I'll leave it there... but that's me!
Go ahead and introduce yourselves.
Hello all my name is Jan this is my first post.

I have varied music tastes. Love live show, last year I saw

I love going on holidays, last year it was Mexico, this year America, west coast,
I don't know what I would do with my sky tv.
The most important thing in my life is my family and friends
Hi everyone!
Another newbie here. I've been lurking on these forums for yonks and I have been so incensed -I thought it was time to find my voice :0)
Anyways be nice to me xx
I decided to join after stumbling on DS via Google while looking for advice about freesat and the ability to use a Sky dish to access freesat. I deliberately steer a wide path away from the Murdoch empire. The quest was a help out for my sister.
I've recently retired (2 yrs ago) and now I'm able to spend more time at our "Hovel" in Limerick, gradually banging it to rights.
I don't spend any time playing web or computer games - sorry, bit of a Luddite there! I was really impressed with the thread I picked up on and am hoping to pick the brains of you members.
My "previous life" was as a supply chain "expert" as a consultant and doing it for real.
Hi all I'm Richard, I'm new to this and have been lurking on Digital Spy since about 2005. I read the content every day, and like the short snappy style of reporting news!
Hi, Ive been on the site for a few days and have already posted and started a controversial thread, Ive probably annoyed a lot of people by now, never meant too and that is not my intention but a lot of the threads are a bit mundane and some appear to be sexually twisted, I am looking for some good debating, I find it interesting to hear everyones opinions and ultimately improve mine but Im not sure this is the right forum....so Im looking for constructive advice, thanks.

We realise that he now needs Pass + so he will do that but does anyone have any advice on where to go for a reasonable quote for a car 1000cc ish.
