Is £200 too much to pay to go to a concert?

Some friends of mine are going to the Madonna concert and have got me a ticket... but it's £200??!
Seriously - I really love Madonna and I know it's going to be great - but not sure I can justify it.

Nah, I paid that to see Andrea Bocelli.
Well worth it.
Depends on your dedication to her music and where the seats are?
Right at the front - standing in the gold circle. But how many people get to stand there? I'll be gutted if I don't get a REALLY good view!
Only if you tend to listen to CDs by people who can't actually sing and don't know how to perform.
Clearly you've never actually seen one of her concerts! They're amazing. i just don't know if they're £200 amazing.
That does not make any sense. I think you will find that Steps can both dance and sing so that makes you seem follish in this instance.
I absolutely L-U-V it!!!
Yes but the people who would go to see them like the way they sing - and if they are good at it then they will still be just as good in concert.
If one listens to music on CD by people who can do neither then a concert is bound to be disappointing.
The OP clearly loves Madonna. I may not like her much but she can sing and all her publicity suggests that she is a great performer. So what's not to like ?
:D:D
You sound exciting. I have been to concerts that I will remember for the rest of my life.
£200 quid. Are you having a laugh?
I should hope you remember them. I had a very costly visit to the garage last week that I will remember for the rest of my life. I recall going to get a verucca done when i was 7 and i remember going once to York. I can remember a lot of stuff.
Funny.
How many cd's do you have amazing memories of?
Really? It sounds like one of Girls Alouds failed attempts at a solo career.
Someone like Maddona really shoud have evolved beyond that. I guess she knows her fans will buy any old rubbish.
She's never been able to top what she did in the 80s, it's time to stop trying imo.
Wings Venus and Mars. The amount of C i scooped off that mother would carpet Gillingham.
LOL, my sentiments entirely.
£200???
I thought the dearest were £137.
I am a tight git and paid 88:D
Seriously you are paying for memories as well. Memories you will have with you forever, like a fine meal, pricey but the memories last a long time.
I do - and I LOVED the superbowl performance - she just gets better and better.
I just don't know if I can actually justify going to see her for £200 - I might not get a good view - and I HATE queuing!!
