    Clearly, this is the kind of food and the kind of restaurant you could only really enjoy if someone else were paying the bill

    I think it's the 'enjoy' factor that's missing. There's little joy, it's all so serious and the guests have such jaded palates that just need constant tittilating.

    I would LOVE to know what happens to the food that they deem "overcooked" (usually by microsecond)...

    Does it go to a worth cause, like being donated to a homeless shelter to help feed hungry people?

    Or more likely does it wastefully go in the bin..?

    I am guessing dustbin. I guess some of the staff might have it after service has finished but most will be binned. Waste.

    One of the chefs in the kitchen abandons his post to go roaming round the streets looking for homeless folk to feed.

    DH has just piped up we could have bought soft shelled crab from the chinese supermarket we were in yesterday.. Didn't realise that, although I was probably too overcome with the octopus circle to notice anything else..lol
