Thanks i will look. We used to get absolutely huge ones which were delicious. Much paler than usual and smooth skinned but i cant recall the variety, if i ever knew it.
In Britain the ones most commonly sold are the bumpy Hass and the smoother Fuerte.

Yes, i usually go for the fuerte, all other things being equal. We used to eat avocados on long distance bike tours because we thought they were pretty much a complete food but i think the protein content was overstated.(seventies and eighties, pre google)
I am sat here in elfin leaf face paint after a fun day doing a face painting workshop! I had to stop off at the supermarket on the way home though...:o...it was remarkable how virtually noone batted an eyelid at my vista
The man on the till complemented me on my dramatic look! :D
Just had a fruitless journey to my daughter's open evening at college.
It was supposed to be 6.30 -7.30 so we turned up at 7.05 hoping to avoid sitting for an hour waiting like last time only to find the tutors had gone  The staff who were there told us it finished at seven and there was a bit of letter waving, someone went off for a bit and then returned casually saying "oh some letters were sent out with the wrong time on"
It is a good job she is doing well and there are no "issues" to be discussed.

Sometimes a short cut isn't the best thing to take, were you the only ones to mess it?
Not sure, I saw a lot of bands when I was younger and I think they may have been one of them. I know I’ve seen T Rex, Pink Floyd, Atomic Rooster, Ginger Baker’s Air Force (not a highlight), The Crazy World of Arthur Brown (since seen as a guest at a local garden party)

Why?
I think you should invest in one so that you can share these little moments with us
I will let you off with a caution on this occasion
1) It was fun
2) So when I'm next roped in to help out - I will know what I'm doing
Oh well, suppose it keeps you off the streets. :D
