    Morning Hicky :D

You want to get thicker curtains :D
    Morning Flora,:)

We don't close the curtains at night, they stay open all the time in the bedroom.
It's so annoying opening and closing them, same downstairs.

    £953 for a washing machine!

Och I'm sure you'll soon have it back to its former 'state'. :D
Replacing a hoover isn't the most 'citing thing to be queuing up & buying! :D

Morning Hicky, it's like a summers day here today, there's a lot of heat in the sun. :D
    Morning SR.:)

Why do people call a Vacuum Cleaner a Hoover?
    Thats a Company name.

Still got cloud here though, might not be as nice as i'd hoped.

I think it is in common use as a verb now. We talk of dogs hoovering up their food.
:eek::eek: No curtains? Are you swingers?

I have made a tray of bacon-wrapped eggs, some curry , savoury rice, and a double batch of LC rolls. I have also scrubbed the main balcony and kitchen floor and vacuumed throughout so I am now going to sit outside in the sunand do sod-all for the rest of the day....:p

Yeah, I'm sure it's really tiring opening & closing curtains!

If I choose to call it a hoover I shall do so. (which I do & shall continue to do)

    Ah, i see. Thanks.
Increasingly, twitter is used as a diary, with every detail of life being logged, Only public. Who ever would have thought, back in the days we had padlocks on them that it would be fashionable to display it for all.

It sounds like you have done your bit for the day. How is Celeste and how do you get your bacon to stay on the egg?:)

    It's a B&Q setup, fantastic.
They are the lovely type with the big built in rings that go over the round 22mm pole that comes with slits in for the bends of the Bay Windows.
It's got a big double glazed glass section for the center with the smaller opening windows at the sides.

    I hoover (rarely)
It is actually a proper word.http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hoover

You can see into bedrooms with binoculars quite easily you know. I hope you dont live anywhere near Bidston Hill.
and i suppose you dont have window cleaners? or telegraph poles that might need attention and that you have a no fly zone over your house?

I've just watched the recording of the Aaron and Faye twittercast. Thought I might last a few minutes, but I utterly loved it. Reminded me why I wanted Aaron to win, and why Aaron-Faye was one "romance" (if you could call it that) I actually enjoyed. They are both very odd and quirky, and also good speakers, witty with words and banter. And, of course, they were in a good mood last night, which brought out the best in them. Recommended: to me it was like one long and amusing diary-room session and made me look forward to the next BB.

OH does the dysoning here, apparently you dont just 'hoover' the bits that show you have to pull the furniture out as you go along, who would have thought :D
