can't believe they are doing this special when Sam/Ronnie never got one
you cant be like that lol i was a big fan of ronnie and still am, but i believe everyone thats been in ee for a long time should get a special show. i think sam may not have wanted one, which is why bbc didnt do one. otherwise what have bbc got to lose? ronnie was one of the biggest stars on ee and doing one wouldve gained ratings.
Why people are saying Heather isn't a worthy/notable character is beyond me. She has had lots of storylines and lots of people know Heather. Of course she's worthy.
I'm looking forward to their interviews and behind the scenes bits. Really hoping it shows behind the scenes of Linda and Cheryl on Hev's final scenes.
There will be a lot of put downs and condascending dialogue (old clips) to this documentary where Heather's concerned though I bet. She was always a downtrodden character in the background for me, I liked the recent her and Andrew getting it together storyline and it was nice to see someone stick up for her like him - and in turn stopping her being used as a doormat by the likes of Shirley and most of the square. It'll be funny if they showed that scene where her and Shirley trespassed on the wrong mansion when attempting to spy on George Michael. Some of those fun eps. have gone out of the window since Santer's days.
I can see why they killed Heather off as they wanted to make sure Ben was HATED and killing Heather was the way to do it...
BUT
Why did it have to happen? Heather and Shirley were too good to break up. Its such a shame that its ended this way. I bet EastEnders will regret this in the longer term.

I hope Linda and Steve do interviews
