Nah, most of it has gone but it's really cold with frozen snow lying about. So much so that Nellie went running out, stopped in her tracks & about tailed it. Timo peered out of the door like a curtain twitcher & went back upstairs.:D

I had to laugh at the BBC news last night, a very brief mention on the snow up here, followed by, 'it's on its way down south soon, wrap up warm & be prepared'.

This is for Acker and Spooner. I think it is anonymous and i have chopped it a bit.

    Four Candles
The first candle represents our grief.
The pain of losing you is intense.
It reminds us of the depth of our love for you.
This second candle represents our courage.
    To confront our sorrow,
    To comfort each other,
    To change our lives.
This third candle we light in your memory.
    For the times we laughed,
    The times we cried,
The times we were angry with each other,
    The silly things you did,
The caring and joy you gave us.
This fourth candle we light for our love.
We light this candle that your light will always shine.

    Morning twinkies
Tired as a tired thing, bloody thunderstorms rumbling away all night, grrrr.....
Played tennis last night, canny walk today, fed up- looks like I'm going to have to stop playing:( still waiting for referral to another specialist, added complication is the whole Thai "face" thing, makes it difficult for another surgeon in the same hospital to over-rule someone else's diagnosis....so trying to find another hospital with a good orthopaedic dept, plus, they run more like businesses than hospitals so am wary of unnecessary surgery just so they can make money...
    Ach well....:)
On this ONE occasion, listen to Hicky. :D
It is better to stop playing tennis as a short term measure rather than play on and risk never playing again.
    Twinkies?
Well sounds like Nellie and Timo have got their heads screwed on right :D

Well you know our weather is a lot more important than yours :p:D

You are allowed individual weather too, such as snow in Surrey, sleet in Essex, but SR only has one weather condition to cover the entire country.

SR's Weather is Whether to stay in or not.:D

I don't know why they are calling it a rat. You might as well call a lion a tabby.

I suppose they think it makes for a more sensational story to call it a rat. Rat or not it would be a bit frightening to be confronted by one in your own home

It is a Rat isn't it?

It says it's a rat anyway.

If you listen to the actual video there seems to be a great deal of doubt that it is a rat.
