I've seen all the episodes so far and can only say; its BORING.
It takes all the heart and soul out of music and reduces it to generic performers singing in pretty much the same styles.
I just can't engage with it and am not impressed with the panel.
Rubbish.

Impressive.
You're clearly not feeling the format of the show, where all you can do is feel and hear the voice and emotion in the songs at this stage...
I'm not convinced there is any, they're all trying to fit into one of two or three styles. There is no emotion, individuality or originality.
This is probably the least engaging talent show ever.
As for the performers - there's a reason they aren't well established, much loved artists.
I love the show:D
Well I love it, so there you go.
As for the singing styles, they're trying to sell their voices to the panel so there are only a couple of songs/arrangements where you can best show off your vocals because that's all they have at this stage. They could try other types of styles that include more dancing or edge, etc. at some other point.
Almost as impressive as the predictability of your thread.
Well considering how unoriginal you thread is, it was always going to get the usual "Don't watch it" replies.
Don't watch it.
Then I presume you'll have the good sense not to watch any more episodes.
I shall probably watch another episode to see if my first impression is confirmed - only fools make a decision based upon a first impression.
You really think anyone else cares? Get a grip.
Really? You think if you're bored by something the sensible thing to do is to watch more of it?
I wrote that I was a little bored, so yes, I think it fair to give it another chance to see if it grows on me.
LOL Jack. That's the first post of yours that had me roaring with laughter. Brilliant.
Stupid thread....ergo: comments are predictable. Life's too short to watch things you hate. It's way too short to start pointless threads about how much you hate it.( Otherwise I'd have been glued to the golf, boat race and football all day then posting in the Sports forums on how tedious they were, instead of watching a cracking film. )
I'm pleasantly enjoying it, it's not as good as the US version but that's just my opinion.
Are you Simon Cowell in disguise...?
