I'm married with 2 kids and just come out, it means NOTHING, trust me, so many closeted gay men in marriages out there.

Is it worthwhile - if you love your wife as a person and want children? I mean there is a lot more to life than sex. Just wondering.

It's not just about the sex but attraction as well. They'll only ever love their wife as a friend probably.

I've definitely read before about some popular horror story/film or other where one critic's rather imaginitive interpretation of the relationship between the two male leads was one of unspoken homosexual desire, with their quest being to 'destroy' the female coming between them... wasn't sure if it was Salem's Lot but your theory certainly angles it that way! :D

That was the infamous 'gay' Nightmare on Elm Street wasn't it? I think it was Elm Street 2

Supposedly Freddie was the main character's repressed homosexuality. He spends the whole movie terrified of being intimate with his girlfriend, and prefers to stay over with his muscular 'jock' best friend

His girlfriend eventually kills Freddie and he loses his fear of boning her!

Noah Stewart was rather camp on the breakfast news.

Can't click the link as i'm in work, but is this Bruno Mars rumour true? That he supposedly rung a local radio station yesterday and confirmed he was gay, but wasn't planning to 'officially' come out until he gauged the reaction from his fans?

Some saying it's an Aprils Fools joke, but that would be in incredibly bad taste from him

The timing makes me think it's a April Fools joke but it's pretty crass if that's the case

If true it's in incredibly bad taste to use homosexuality as an April Fool's joke

Nah don't worry folks, i know it's an horrific thought. April Fool!

Yeah, it is bad taste. My gay-dar does ring for Bruno, but until he confirms he is (or isn't) then I won't believe anything else. :p

This is what Mika has to say on the matter...

'In a September 2009 interview in Gay & Night, Mika commented on his sexuality: "I've never ever labeled myself. But having said that; I've never limited my life, I've never limited who I sleep with"'

Which sort of alludes to him being bisexual.

Almost word for word what John Barrowman used to say about himself before he got a proper foothold working over here...think its a showbiz way of trying to appeal to everyone so they can get ahead......think its a bit of a falsehood but while there is homophobia there will be those why shy away from complete honesty

The photo doesn't come up with that link now. I'm guessing therefore that it was a joke, possibly a play on words to mean gay as in happy as he was smiling broadly in the photo.

Not sure if he counts as a celebrity but I've always assumed Steve Dixon from Sky News is gay.

The trouble with this thread is, once the speculation starts even if incorrect it seems almost impossible to dispell. David Walliams can't seem to shake the rumours no matter what he says or does to the contrary.Simon Cowell I'm convinced loves only himself.

Anyone know the story on John Mahony (Martin Crane)? I've heard various rumours but nothing from the horse's mouth?

He and two other regulars on Frasier are openly gay.

I don't think David Walliams wants to shake off the rumours - he plays up to it IMO, it's all an integral part of his act.

As for Simon Cowell - I'm in absolutely no doubt at all! :D

I don't think there's anything noticeably homosexual about George Alagiah. I'd say he was straight to be honest.

i think he just hates females

Gay males are more than capable of hating women. In fact some are very good at it.
