Been an age since I've had a chance to get on here as I've been a bit swamped by life, and of course there's the little matter of there being bugger all new to discuss.... But thought I'd pop on this evening whilst I had a chance and what do I see but actual news of filming by both Johnny and Marc - yay, happy days! Although I hope they're both going to be in it together before then as waiting until June for a joint scene is beyond ridiculous. I'm looking forward to seeing Christian next week - even if it is only a blink and you'll miss him appearance.
I see there is a quiz too - thanks for this meg, have started it already. Is it cheating to use google for the geography questions? If it is I totally didn't, honest....
I can't click on the bottom answer for question 10 on the last one, and I suspect it may be the correct one, about Syed.
edit: well, I would've gotten 90! Thought bed scene topped the DIC list. No idea what scores I got, but I got a few 100s and my lowest was 70. I need a life.

Ironically it appears that the two sections of the quiz I was doing well in aren't actually possible for me to finish.

Gah, I can't finish part 7 either, I get stuck on the question about Masood's reaction to discovering he's a grandfather*. Will try again with a different browser in the morning!

Evening all! Been away all day, saw Titanic in the cinema, blubbed a bit, then went for tea and have spent the last 45 mins catching up - I love how active the thread's been today in comparison to recent weeks!

Back from my mum's over Easter and having the most terrible day, which I shall now relate. Bear with it... it is Chryed related!
I've been having building work done since before Christmas, spent most of January staying at a friend's because my bedroom was out of action, not been able to have anyone round for months, everything covered in dust. I finally managed to get all the painting finished just before Easter and was looking forward to spending today cleaning up all the plaster dust and putting paintings on the wall and sending out invites to my friends to come and see my new house.
So I got up, got dressed and the first thing I decided to do was put all the finished-with paint up in the attic. Half way up the ladder I managed to drop a large almost-full pot of cream emulsion and it exploded open as it hit the floor.
I can't begin to describe the mess - cream paint all over the floor, walls, wardrobe, pictures. Everywhere.
I've been trying to clean it up, but everything will need repainting - just when it was finally finished.
I called my friend and had a big cry - he was very reassuring. (And here's the Chryed bit!) I was being all pathetic and said I felt so stupid because it was all my fault for dropping the paint and he said 'It's not your fault. These things happen. Sometimes stuff just happens.' Cue big grin from me! I said 'That's exactly what Christian said the last time Chryed were on Eastenders.' and he said 'Well, Christian is right.'
Oddly, this did make me feel much better - the amazing healing power of Chryed seeping into real life. : )

Among others, I'm guessing.

To be fair, I've rewatched pretty much everything since August 2010 a hell of a lot less than everything up to July 2010 so I guess I can understand it - just was a bit shocked!
The only ep I've rewatched any of since last October was the 8th March episode (well, and the reunion scene from the 6th). Haven't rewatched anything else at all since Amira's return, even the episodes I quite liked or didn't think were that bad at the time. I just can't take Amira 2.0 and how shoddy & contrived the whole thing was overall, not good for the blood pressure.
