Yeah, you are right, but sometimes we don't need to add sugar in rice flour. We usually have it for breakfast. I too love it. I was waiting to go back to India to get the puttu steamer and finally got it last october. Very easy to make. My husband likes to have it with some peas curry.
I...am...jealous!:D
There's a recipe to make it in microwave, but it isn't nice.
Thing is they look ok, but its all change when I slice the bread as its always quite a heavy texture inside, unlike the rolls which are always silky soft;)

Yea yea, you're just trying to make me feel better about my rubbish baking. Hehe
Talking about them in another thread, I got peckish, so i just knocked up some roasted chickpeas. Coated them in olive oil, salt, chilli powder & paprika.

I'm from Sri Lanka, we have this thing called 'milk rice' which is rice cooked in...milk! Cooked in the rice cooker as usual. And that is a breakfast dish served with 'miris' which is a chilli paste. And I think we are meant to eat it on Buddhist holidays as well. And the other breakfast food is 'hoppers' which is a crispy pancake, sometimes with an egg cooked in the middle of it.
I think the one you are saying is different from puttu which my sri lankan friend cooks usually. I'll ask about the dish you are saying.
Mmmm...I love burger. Its long time i had one. Your home made special sauce looks interesting. What is the recipe if i may ask? Your chicken pepper pasta also looks yummy.
What is the white solid thing in between vegetables? Is that cheese? Looks yummy though. Never tried to make kebab in my kitchen. Always from the kebab bar.
lol. I'm jealous. How you guys are so good at baking? Whenever i try to bake anything i mean anything from bread to cake, they always end up in the bin. I don't stop though, still buying some ingredients to bake.

I would love to have with my tea. I love savoury and spice kind of things to have with tea especially in a rainy day. In India, chick peas are so famous to have it in rainy days. Yummyyy...
Looks yummyy...Can i ask the recipe for your chicken, garlic sauce and chilli sauce? Or if you've bought the sauces from shop, can you tell me the brand names? Thanks. And is that red cabbage or beetroot?:o
