AN army of firemen, engineers and medics demolished part of a HOUSE to save Britain’s biggest teenager yesterday after she had a seizure.

Who was bringing her food? She obviously was unable to walk and get up of her lazy arse. Social services obviously not any good like usual.

No buffalo meat? Try quorn, turkey, fish etc. I find it so hard to believe that after all the intensive support she had in America, she came back and allowed herself to get so much bigger.
NO kidding! - As someone mentioned previously, SOMEBODY was feeding her. Shame on them.
I am as drunk and tactless as 4 drunk and tactless men welded together..
BUT
In what heartless way of your being; is it 'disgusting...?'
It's desperately sad; and severe obesity like annorexia; invariably as much a mental health disorder as anything else.
What would 'not be disgusting' in your Daily Mail reader like opinion..?
The emergency services leaving here there; to die as they drank a cuppa on the lawn...?
The girl cared enough to at least *try* to do something about her weight. She failed; and maybe that is something that was just tragically meant to be.
Nah...
Dissgusting is one-line wonder geniuses like yourself with the empathy of a house brick.
(EDIT : Just as well I'm not sober...:D)
Me too. *applauds*
Mentally ill person stays mentally ill. Is it that difficult to believe?

My opinions haven't changed much - poor kid never stood a chance really
[whisper]
He's drunk at 6.30am on a week day, what's that all about ?
no sympathy from me
that is what is wrong with today's society, no one is prepared to take responsibility, they just find excuses, and then expect a shed load of sympathy when it goes wrong!
nothing new there then:rolleyes:
"That's disgusting"
I for one would like to know more..so how about it KieranDS..?
Let rip; say why you feel this way, prove that we are all numpties and impress us with your Mail like reader intellect..:)
'Tick Tock Kierice'
Exactly. When she got back home she piled on the weight by eating what she shouldn't have been eating. And I don't believe it was down to her mum not having healthy meals for her. One night of bad food would have been satisfactory time to prepare healthy meals and she would have been an adult herself. She only lost the weight because she was in an environment where she was forced to lose the weight. She obviously had no intention of keeping it up.
Is there any basis for her being ''mentally ill'' or is it just assumptions?
It's about me still having a few redeemable qualities left..viz compassion humanity, , understanding and the ability to recognise that like Orwell said "All animals are equal; but some less equal than others"
Because the world isn't as black and white and idealogical as you'd like to think it is. If it were, a quick slap around the head whilst screaming "stop eating so much" would have worked on the girl by now. If behaviours were that easy to change and control then she'd be well on her way to be the next slimmer of the decade by now but unfortunately life isn't like that and there are always reasons behind people's problems. Reasons. Not excuses.
i didn't read anything about mental illness, i think she needs a kick up the **** hopefully this latest episode might do just that
Where is it noted that she is mentally ill? There is no mention of it anywhere. You can't just assume someone is mentally ill.
The correlating underlying symptomology is in keeping with those who (as mentioned) suffer annorexia. Start here; then read a bit more. She may be obese; but she was not a disgrace..in the way that those with ill-informed attitudes here are.

I agree. Its very offensive assume such a thing.
And there ladies and gentlemen; we have the perfect example of an ignorant, ill-informed Daily Mail mentality reader for all to see.
Despite seconds of research; no known cure is yet on the horizon; with a bleak outlook for any change in this forecast
that's where the problem lies..people making excuses because they can't find the reasons, or people misinterpreting reason and then making excuses
load of b******s, there are thousands of people out there going through god knows what, look at the chaps out in afghanistan, they dont sit and stuff themselves do they/? what about the prisoners of war that came back from japan and occupied germany, years ago, they came back and got on with it, this girl clearly lacks the motivation for changing her situation, hopefully this will be a wakeup call for her, if she's lucky, she might get the chance to change her life and motivate herself instead of being a burden on the state and the emergency services who have REAL work to do:mad::mad:
god this makes me so angry
read excuses for reasons, thats wherein the problem lies in my opinion
individual responsibility scares people, thats why they won't accept it, its too much like hard work
