Name tags are great for getting to know the housemates in the early days. They are also useful for viewers that may switch on during Day 21 etc so they can easily immerse themselves into the show.
I say keep them.
I fail to understand this notion when people get up in arms about them. They are simple text graphics that pop up for 3 seconds and disappear again. Hardly big red graphics with klaxon sound effects
I agree with other people in this thread - for the first few days they are quite handy. After that, though, I'm sure most of us know who is who, so they get ever so slightly annoying.

For the first week or so they could be handy....
I say keep them.

Although that is also a good idea.
Second week ease off on them.
Third week rarely use them.
Fourth week not needed at all.
BOTS being a case in point.
And me.:D
After a while I hardly noticed them anyway.
The show last year was just a poor imitation of Towie.
Never needed them in 11 years, don't need them now.
Exactly.
The name tags were just a way of trying to copy that brainless show.
^ This, though it doesn't really bother me that much.
I have to say I like it when the amount of nominations received pops up when they all nominate, I hope they've kept that.
Well they are now.
I couldn't agree more.
