My mate at work was telling me the other day about the EDF advert character 'Zingy' bing sold on Ebay..
Just had a look and there are loads of them, knitted ones, key rings, even bird baths..

Money to be made ? Might get my old mum and the lady next door to get knitting as they are selling for around six quid...

You kinda can buy them already, zingy is a keepon, they cost about 30 quid. They are yellow, zingy is a reskined version.

You can't buy one that looks like Zingy though I wish you could.

They'll probably do what 'compare the market/meerkat' do soon and give one away when you take out a policy with them.

So that's what they call it. We were calling it 'the wee blob' in our house!

I've just cleaned something out of the cat litter box that looked just like that - I obviously should have put it on eBay instead :D

Surely knitting and selling them is some sort of infringement of copyright/trademark/intelectual property and could land you in trouble.

When I was 'googling' the other week cause I wondered if you could buy one. I came across a reply from EDF that they were considering making the mascot so you could buy it in their shop. Can't for the life of me find the link now though,

Haha, I just wish they would dance to something without a heavy beat and would stop "stopping to listen".

But a fake poo doesn't dance to your music, bop when you tap them on the head or turn to you when you poke it. :o

My little boy would love them forever if they did create Zingy.

And for the more scatologically minded people amongst you, you can actually buy Pee & Poo dolls.

My mum bought the knitting pattern on eBay and then shortly after receiving it got an email from eBay to say the seller she bought it from had been suspended.
