Watching Youzhny online seeing as the BBC don't seem to want to cover Court 18 on the red button- didn't they used to have cameras on all the TV courts on the red button?

They stopped the play because they think it'll rain or showering yet these idiots officials won't close the roof already so that we get a non-stop play from here on.
Repulsive is a bit harsh. Annoying yes. But that one that played Lisiki last week took not just the biscuit but the whole picnic hamper. You wouldn't want to live next door to her
I'm surprised. I actually wouldn't have been shocked if Shvedova won because she has been playing terricfly and Serena hasn't been playing as well as we know she can. Shvedova gave her a tough match today but sadly gifted her the break at the end with the two consecutive double faults. Good tournament for Slava though, hopefully we'll see her back up the rankings.
I was looking forward to the thought of a Serena-Petra quarter-final, but really, the way Petra has been playing today, if she does win, I can't see her being able to beat Serena. This is what's infuriating about watching Petra play, some tournaments she is on fire and others she struggles to get through.

She'd give something a rub down...

Another beanpole overpowered
Zzzzz
It was a good close match the way your going on you would think she won it with ease
Thought it was a great match, TBH, good shot-making on key points from both.
There was an inevitability to it.
At least they toughed out the fairy rain and didn't go running indoors. They've not even bothered with the covers on court 1.
In what way?
I never doubted that Serena would win.
Probably win it.
That's why I've switched to something less gruesome until her match is over
Currently watching "Seconds From Disaster" on NatGeo
I like her. Her noises don't annoy me anywhere near as much as Sharapova. The Schiavone/Kvitova match is excellent.

Play's not stopped at all on 18. They're just getting on with it
