Seems six clubs have no intention of changing their mind on Monday so that should be that.
I can see the logic of not admitting Dundee, however I think they will he admitted if only to provide a derby.
Can't believe the SPL are still up to their 'dirty tricks'. Well, I can which I suppose says it all.
I'm sure the Rangers support are as fed up with all the garbage as everyone else ... well again, with Green obviously beleving that his side will never start in the SFL3 I suppose they are not surprised either.
Absolute shambles that a person like Green - who is he again? - has been 'privately' counselled over the goings on within Scottish football.
I, honestly, believed it was all over ... it isn't now

Its disgraceful. And whats even more disgraceful is that the various bodies have been so "matter of fact" about it all, as if its completely acceptable.
I just don't understand where this optimisim comes from really, at the moment, with no squad to speak of, they might finish bottom of the league, rather than go up, as many people think!
If Kenny Miller signs for Vancouver Whitecaps that should surely be it as regards the Scotland career. However I am not convinced it will be.
Its criminal the likes of Mackay-Stevens will never get anywhere near the full squad under Avril
Im not quite so quick to hammer him as i once was. I'll give him the start of this qualifying campaign before calling for him to be shot. Having said that there really isn't anyone to come in to make a difference. Levein is a talented guy - we should be asking why he has gone from forward thinking coach to "rent an English league player". Its obviously the environment he is working in.
If i was appointing a Scotland manager tomorrow (Jill will laugh her socks off reading this) id go for Houston. Ive have never changed my opinion on manager in quite the way i have about him. He has an eye for a player.

Dundee United are a very attack minded sided under Houston compared to Levein

The fact that this is even being considered for Monday is an absolute joke.
For me it has to be Dundee that is promoted, Dunfermline were relegated. However, the fact that both teams still don't know, once again demonstrates the utter lack of leadership at the top of Scottish football.

pars to get the nod over dundee because of dundee's past financial problems.
The SPL rules explicitly rule out Dunfermline's participation in the league next season. It would also be a bit dodgy to take past financial problems into account, considering we've already been punished for them.
Besides, without Rangers, the remaining clubs will want the team with the bigger travelling support, which is unquestionably Dundee.

In the English pyramid when teams have folded or a team from the division below has been refused promotion for not having a ground up to standard etc, it's generally the relegated team that gets a reprieve.

There's a difference between being "the relegated team" and "the team that finishes bottom".
The SPL has previously seen the team that's finished bottom stay in the league (Motherwell) because the club that won the First Division (Falkirk) didn't meet the ground criteria. However, never before has a team been relegated then invited back. And as I said in my last post, the SPL's rules explicitly forbid Dunfermline's participation in the league in the coming season.

However don't expect The New Rangers to gain promotion to SFL2 next summer.
There is no evidence to support that other than having a goalkeeper on £12k a week. He is playing with only 5 players in front of him at the moment.
All their opponents will see it as a cup final as well.
Its criminal the likes of Mackay-Stevens will never get anywhere near the full squad under Avril.
However I am sure a new Championship Englishman of the month will surface in time for the Australia friendly in a month

Im not questioning that?
Backing up the point why he would be ok as the manager

Spot on.
God help us.
An utter embarrassment of the highest order.
He shouldn't be dismissed at all unless there is some sort of plan in place.
We are just going round in circles.
no he will get the first few games of the qualifying campaign and once we have been humped by the Welsh they will bring someone else in
Who will do exactly the same thing and we will continue to be surprised......
