Best Doctor Who Moments: Ever

I thought us Who fans could make a thread contributing all the moments in DW history that have made us laugh, cry, smile bitter-sweetly or curse at the writers for making the worst decision in the history of the series.

So post a vid, or just comment to say what moment has made you say 'this is the reason I love Doctor Who.':D

To start everyone off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI1282Pgmuw

(This is supposed to be a funny video. I'd recommend watching the number two and number one moments. Too funny.)

Love the scene in the eleventh hour where we see all the past doctors and then we see 11, "hello, I'm the Doctor," great moment, when Matt Smith became the Doctor

Also love the scene from wedding of River Song where the Doctor learns of the Brigadiers death, goes to his own death, and then we see footage from impossible astronaut, great music

Having really joined Doctor who with the Ninth Doctor, my top three are, understandably a Nine, a Ten, and an Eleven...

    3. GO TO YOUR ROOM!

    2. People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

    1. Basically... Run.

(Funny they're all moffat lines. Says something about my tastes.)

Why are you laughing? It's the saddest moment in Who history! Why is everyone laughing?!?!?

Obvious candidates: That Caves of Androzani cliffhanger, farewell to Susan, It's a Fez. I wear a Fez now... fezzes are cool., 'Do I have the right?' from Genesis of the Daleks, the unlimited rice pudding of Remembrance of the Daleks, anything with Patrick Troughton.

Every time there's a regeneration and you think "Am I going to like him?" and after 2 minutes you think "Oh, yes, this is going to be good!"

(But the best ones were 1 to 2 and 7 to 8)

When I first saw it, the end of School Reunion where K9 is left with Sarah, it made me cry.

Ah come on! Everyone is like 'saddest moment ever. The crew were crying, we had to cut it because everyone was so emotional. It will go down in history as one of the greatest moments ever. Everyone says it was their favourite moment in the history of Who etc etc.'

And then it's Martha. And that Alien fish head. :D Cracks me up every time.

And then moment number two. 'This is the day I died. This is where I died. My last journey ever blah blah.' And then the Doctor goes 'oh no, she's safe!' haha.

Spine-tigling scene, brilliantly played by Bill Hartnell:

A scene that really shows how powerful silence can be too, as opposed to music.

The ending 15 minutes of Utopia and of The Pandorica Opens. Both of these two episodes were good but their endings were absolutely stunning. And the two cliffhangers at the end of series 4 as well.

"It's one small step for man -YOU SHOULD KILL US ALL ON SIGHT!- one giant leap for mankind"
-"You've given the order for your own execution- and one whacking great kick up the backside for the Silence! You've just raised an army against yourself! And now, for a thousand generations, you're going to be ordering them to destroy you every day. How fast can you run? Because today's the day the human race throw you off their planet. They won't even know they're doing it. I think, quite possibly the word you're looking for right now is......run!"

The defeat of the Silence- simply brilliant.

    Indeed.
    "You were on Skaro!"
Brought all the Genesis of the Daleks memories flooding back.
