Wiggins in full flow in a TT is a truly magnificent thing to watch :)

Well, that ought to shut Chris Froome's girlfriend up, at any rate.

What did he have to gain by doing well today?
Nothing, as it was impossible for him to win the tour, so it was just a case of, just do your best for him, and his bedt certainly hasn't been anywhere near good enough.

Yes it is not good to see a old champion struggle, but he was never going to win it this year anyway was he?

Thanks to his track past, this sort of thing is just second nature to him now.

No, he wasn't but it must have been humiliating to have his much younger teammate sail past him like that.

BMC team manager breaking just about every law in the French Highway code there. Enough to get 5 people banned for life.

No it can't, but out with the old in with the new as they say.

    All over!

    Congratulations Bradley.

On that form he must be favourite for the Olympic TT?

I think Phil Liggett covered the mike there for a moment, and you could faintly hear him and Paul Sherwen celebrating deliriously :D

[edit] a few seconds after the finish, after he says "just champagne on the streets of France". They seem to have a little private moment.

I think the Olympic Time Trial start order is based on last year's World Champs, which means Cancellara starts third last, Wiggo would start second-to-last, and Tony Martin starts last. Obviously a pretty ideal situation for him, but a poor one for Chris Froome.

I wouldn't go writing Cancellara off just yet.

Wiggins will be working hard for Cav in the RR before the TT remember , wouldn't be suprised at all to see him do it though.

    Off Topic Warning

England were on the wrong side of a hugely biased ref in that final and still won , you cant keep blaming refs for you're continual failures against SH teams , Wales are good but nowhere near as good as some people like to think they are.

Sorry for taking this thread off topic ill knock it on the head now.

Until recently we couldn't compete against Southern Hemisphere sides, but recently we have lost very narrowly and a few refereeing decisions have cost us, in the World Cup Semi Final and the last 2 tests away to Australia.
With fair refs we would have beaten France in the World Cup Semi and Australia in those games.
We have quite well getting Grand Slams recently, but do I think Wales are overrated, yes, Warren Gatland even more overrated.
Why rugby was brought into this thread in the first place, I don't know.
