    You as well? :D:o
No That would take away from it being one moment in time and unique.

Between another Bolero rip off and the original I'll take the original but maybe it's time for them to end the series with something else. I'm not sure what though.

Two great songs for the Olympics .......

One Moment In Time, which will always remind me of the 1988 summer Olympics when the BBC did a montage of the likes of Ben Johnson and Flo Jo, and 'Proud' which the BBC payed at the end of each day of the 2000 Olympics with a video montage of the winners..

He was probably the best on the night. A deserving winner.

    Glad Steve won.

I didn't see his performance but I think the Korbut name was a bit better than her skating!

Much more artistic. And seemed to be getting younger and younger the more she was out there enjoying herself.

Robin was worth the wait - he has still got the star quality which got him his medals.... Shame about the lack of jumps, but he's shown you can turn in a fabulous routine without them!

More of him in the main show please!
There's only three jumps in the second routine (starts about 4.40) that Robin did in the 1980 Olympic exhibition (though the one at 6.25 is a cracker) but I never tire of watching it.

I agree with you Stunty. I loved watching Bonnie Langford and Olga because they can drape and arrange themselves so beautifully but neither of them really skated. Steve had to skate because there's no other choice for men.

    Steve deserved to win.

Robin was rusty, and moved on one of his spins. No jumps from him, not even a half axel.

Olga has no false modesty. Was that refreshing, or conceited ? She did well, but should have been allowed to skate a bit more.

Its criminal that Olga didn't win. She was one of my childhood heros. Her positioning was beautiful as was her smile. I'm not fussed by DOI generally but that was a magic moment.

Well what do I know, there was me thinking Steve would be a bit rubbish. I think he deserved to win - a surprisingly smooth & elegant skater given his size. Olga was elegant & had beautiful lines unsurprisingly but not enough skating content & she got a few extra marks for being Olga Korbut.

I enjoyed Gail & Luk and Colin & Frankie also.

Great to see Robin back on the ice again.

Fantastic show for a one-off special. Roll on the Olympics.

I thought she would win. Much much better than I expected! She's still got it.

    Loved the show! :)
