Very annoying on TVs with overscan turned off, please fix BBC:

As stated the torch relay doesn't have so it seems just to be the loop.
Also Nice new BBC SPORT DOG with Olympic rings! (Copyright)
The sport bit seems a bit unnecessary to me, with scorecards as well on screen as well.
Yes testcard is probably not the correct word for it, let's call it a place holding graphic.
The captioning is in nasty 4:3 safe area - Have they learnt nothing from people moaning about that in F1?
It's a 16:9 picture so don't do 4:3 anything!

They just can't seem to decide. If their excuse is that someone watching in full screen 4:3 needs the captions there, then they will cut off most of the new DOG. You will get only the BB on the edge.
Do one or the other but not both!
The captions are important information though, the DOG is just there if video of it is used on other channels or online so you know where the original broadcast is from.
Panic over!
(DOG on left hand side!)
They'd better sort this out.
They might need to move that BBC Sport DOG its over the top of the Olympic Graphics on the extra Olympic Channels, fortunately BBC One HD seems to have lost its DOG.
A white line running the entire length of the screen which is nearly all black is annoying, hopefully they will fix it soon.
Not seen score clock yet, presume will come up in a minute when these matches start, but why have they moved the DOG to the left- surely DOGs in sport always need to go on the right so they do not overlap the scorecard/clock, wake up BBC:D.
Funny thing is its on the left for Olympic Channels 1-3, the ones in use today with the score card on the left.. its on the right for 4-24 all the ones not in use. Lol
DOG overlapping scorecard
Course they can. It's not blocking anything.
It's only on the minor Olympic channels
DOG mockup with no sport
FOM are unusual in offering 4:3 and 16:9 graphic options, that isn't being offered from OBS- it'd be far too much to do with that many events going on.
The majority of viewers in a quite a few countries taking the feed will be watching in 4:3 so the graphics need to be that way.
