Where do they find out the time? I can't see anything on the track?
They have a computer chip on the bike and the times are recorded when they go past one of the 'time check points' on the course
Some of the teams will also place their own people around the track with stopwsatches to time the main contenders and relay that back to their rider via the team car
If Froome hangs on to bronze with a Wiggo gold then I don't think any of us would be complaining. Although Martin is still a little too close for comfort!

C'mon Bradley, this is your moment
I really want Froomes to go up into 2nd place.
A top 2 would be brilliant beyond brilliant.
Hopefully , another check point soon would be handy.
Certainly not , its almost to good to be true.
