Some say it is better to have a bike length gap between the first and second rider.

    I'm sure you don't want a bike length !

look at the pursuiters on now.......it looks about 12 inches between wheels

They showed the bronze match as NED v UKR, which could only be if both China and GBR were disqualified.

Well, this was what Jamie Staff said, maybe it is a personal preference, but according to him it was best to have a clear gap.

My results app shows only GBR disqualified, China are still in. Gold match is China v Germany, Bronze Australia v Ukraine.

watch out when the show the next round.........a 'clear gap' will be a few inches, not a bike length !

we were only 'robbed' if the decision was wrong

I wish they'd show us a replay............if it's clear that GB broke the rules, then fair enough

    He's not a muppet.
He was just saying what he was told through his ear piece.
Blame the people telling him the information

Just seen the replay. If anything it was Jess Varnish's fault for pulling up too early and not driving through the line.

It was quite clear from the photo, actually. If you imagine that this was a sprint race, then Victoria "won" quite easily. In my interpretation, it is up to the lead rider to make sure she does her distance. Once she starts, the second rider cannot slow down.
