    This is the first Olympic Games where the Opening/Colsing Ceremonies are held in a different stadium then the Atheletics Events.

    It'll be a bit strange - the athletics stadium in Rio will only have a 47k capacity Can't remember quite why that decision was taken.

    its nice for London to stand in at short notice as Rio ran out of money and couldn't build their stadia or transport systems in time even for the test events.

    These ongoing track cycling rule changes are getting ridiculous.

    "Any nation that has hosted the Summer Olympics between the years 2009 and 2015 is only allowed one male and one female to cover all the individual events."

    Good effort by Chris Hoy to take it on though when everyone thought he was retiring and "Go Trotty !"

    Hey guys, my first post from the the Olympic Stadium here in Rio, well what can I say? It just hasn't got the same enthusiasm, extravaganza and atmosphere as there was for London 2012 :D:p:D
