As MacDonalds seems to be a hot topic today I'd like to clear this issue once and for all. How many people are there who either hate the food itself or object to MacDonalds on ethical grounds?
The food is ok for a fast food outlet, I guess. As for ethics, they are just one of numerous large organisations where this takes a back seat, unless it is detrimental to their business and/or profits. Still, while people continue to provide these organisations with revenue, they'll keep going on as per usual. Many companies only promote ethical, environment policies as a marketing ploy, not because they actually give a shit.
I see a lot of fat people in there, which along with the fact I find their food vile tasting, it puts me off. I don't want to be fat.
Something I always notice about Mcdonalds is the LACK OF fat people in there. It's always young families, groups of teenagers in skinny jeans and profesionals on their lunch hour.
I'm a regular MacDonalds consumer and I'm very skinny so you maybe ok. How about you try a Big Mac just to test the waters?
Ew no thanks, I've tasted most of their food and it wasn't at all appealing. Plus I'm sure your skinny for now, but fast food, especially this sort will catch up with you. Generally the people I see in there are overweight.

If you've tasted most of their food how come your not fat?

I can't say I've noticed this myself, in fact where I live fat people in general seem to be few and far between.
I don't eat there, but have tasted most of the items they sell. I'm sure your aware, you don't get fat like that.
Ofcourse I'm aware of that, I just wasn't sure you were. Your previous posts about your fears of a visit there making you fat were a tad irational. But now I'm confused because I love McDonalds but even I haven't tried "most of their items".
I have a Mcdonalds once every 2 or 3 weeks and throughly enjoy it. I'm not sure if thats considered on a regular basis or not but I'm nowhere near fat.
I've noticed that at all the Mcdonalds restaurants I've visited the staff are pleasant and polite, has anyone else found that?
I wonder if that's high on the training priority.

He's the one with the farm.
Do you know that for sure or is it just yet another generalisation.
And poor is a subjective term.
I am of course referring to the fine eatery that brought us classic gourmet dishes such as the Big Mac and Fillet Of Fish.
Forgot about the sausage and egg mcmuffins, used to get them on the way to work, they were lovely.

I hate it more when arrogant people call it MuckDonalds, McDumbalds or variant thereof.

Hehe the two 'no' ones... hopefully there's more than enough indignation already going on to look me over on that

Not my local MacDonalds. Mostly students and teenagers of the non-yob variety.
Really? I thought McDonalds went to great lengths to make sure their food tastes the same all over the world.
Went to a NYC and the JFK one and both served over sized gunk. Just tasted like rubber and fat. Maybe they were having a bad day.
Are the portions bigger there?
