Always loved the RE games, and if you do then you'll enjoy this one.
I'm not praising it just because I bought it.
If I hated it (like I did with MW3) then I'd give up on it and sell it.
People are going crazy because we can't believe the bad reviews. It's a really good game. People still think 'Resident Evil' and they compare newer games to the classic PSone versions.
Resident Evil has changed. Simple as, either accept it or choose another game.
RE6 is pretty much like RE4 and RE5.
Have you played this yet?
I've played both demo's at length (which equals six separate sections from the campaign). I think people are upset not because of how it strayed from the original Resi formula (everyone accepted that years ago) but because it now has nothing in common with RE4/5 even. I don't see how you can say it's "pretty much like" them when it feels completely different to play.
What chapters did you get from the demo? Like I said, the section before the opening titles and chapter 1 is more like Operation Raccoon City, but Chapter 2 onwards is more like RE4 and RE5.
The demo was poor, and shouldn't have been released. Unless they put a good chapter in the demo, it'll get judged.

Says it all really hasn't even played the full game yet and thinks they can give an opinion on the full game
well as i've said before i finished leon's scenario last night and i can 100% say this game is still a resident evil game and that it felt just like resident evil 4
they only different is hud cosmetics, you move slighty faster and the 360 degree camera control but please when you have played the full game give a proper opinion
This is why I never play demo's. They can be offputting. But you're right, unless you have played the game from the start and played until at least Chapter 3, then you don't really have a strong opinion of the game yet.
I never gave an opinion on the full game. I played both demo's which probably equals around 2 hours worth of gameplay is more than enough to get a grasp on the gameplay mechanics and to know they are completely different from Resi 4/5.
Funny because you haven't finished the game yourself and have only played 1/4's worth (which is known to the be the best part) yet you feel inclined to not only judge the game but to also tell me to play the full game before offering an opinion. Funny guy.
What is exactly different about them though aside from button layout? can you list a bunch of differences that actually effect the game so people can see what you mean
So how do you feel it's completely different?
The characters are too zoomed into the screen
Different controls and aiming system
Different inventory
QTE
Cover system
Different controls and aiming system L1 raise gun R1 fire, where have i used that before
Different inventory, Resident evil 1-3, Resident evil 4, resi 5, resi 6 all different inventory systems and please please don't sit there are pretend for one second that this is worse than the 9 slot resi 5 system where an egg is the same size as a rocket launcher
QTE, this is getting funny you love resi 5 (and i'll get you like 4) but a look of these problems where in previous game such as QTEs
Cover system, nothing wrong with it infact it saved my life a few times in a boss fight, not much need for it in the demos though so you probably didn't get a handle on it
I've never used the cover system, I just shoot lol
I see no problem with QTE's - you just have to pay attention.
To put this into perspective we'll also include another recent Resident Evil game; Revelations on 3DS. The feel of Resi 6 in terms of controls is nothing like RE4/5/Revelations, it's loose, the characters lack the weight and feel of these games and the actual mechanism of control is completely different. Whether you like it or not is up to you, I'm just highlighting the differences, same goes for the inventory.
I know full well there are QTE's and even a form of cover system in the odd later section of RE 5 but the QTE's in RE6 are different, they are more frequent and imo more annoying (stick waggling). The cover system in Chris campaign is just on a whole new level (Gears of War style).
But you've only played the demo, i can tell you the QTEs are not that frequent
And again with the inventory it works perfect
up and down - items that can be used
left and right - weapons
how can you possibly have a problem with such a basic concept
Because he's only played the demo
I've played two demo's and the QTE's were more frequent than RE4/5/Revelations and not only that, they were different as I said. You've only played Leon's campaign yourself
Never said I had a problem with the inventory.
Yes i've actually played an entire campain so i think i know a little bit more than you do about the game
QTEs are not that frequent what you need to remember is demos have to try and include every element of gameplay into a short space of time
So nnnrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Your right this is getting childish, if you buy the game and wish to discuss the campains in full with a proper opinion then we shall but until then let's leave it as i have the game and think its great and you don't have the full game so have no opinion of your own on it
