Shouldn't be too difficult to work out who it was. How many blind celebrities are there?

    This is a disgraceful comment.
You forgot Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles and Jeff Healey. :D

Strikes me that it'd be hard for someone in close proximity to Vanessa Feltz to avoid groping her.

Ah my mistake! Should have spelt with a Z. It won't let me edit the post title now.

Can I just point out you've got a very unfortunate name for a thread with this subject matter? ;)

You sure this has anything to do with Jimmy Savile or just jumping on the bandwagon.

    Are the celebrities queuing up?

Someone else about to be exposed? Can't wait to find out who this is.

Does the BBC really want this? I think the corporation will need to get a grip of this and maybe ask for a gagging order until the police have investigated?

The Express Offices were on the way..

Yes true, bypass the press and go and see the police. Instead this seems a little bit of a publicity stunt, or maybe she's trying to defend the victims, as they all do stick together.

Does Venessa Feltz have a book deal going ?

Ulrika Jonsson, having gained notoriety as a mere Weather Autocue Reader, has already tried the scam.... relying on her friendship with Matthew Wright to out an alleged rapist, damn well destroying his broadcasting career, coincidentally (or not) tied into a Book Promotion Tour.

Unfortunately, the police were never notified at the time, evidence was never collated, suspects never interviewed, corroborational testimony never extracted, no charges brought, and hence, no alleged perpetrator was ever submitted to judicial process, with any case "Proven beyond any reasonable doubt".

Perhaps broadcasters should adopt a fair approach.... blacklisting both those perpetrators who have been brought to justice, and blacklisting those perpetrators who accuse the innocent of haneous crimes.

Forget it pal. She'll never give a name. Just like Ulrika.

I'm no fan of Feltz, but I don't understand all the questions about why she didn't notify anyone, she says it in the article, no-one would have believed her against this bastion of the establishment. That's why she's mentioning it now, sympathising with others who felt they couldn't speak out.

Not sure why people are mentioning the BBC again, this would have been the Big Breakfast.

She should ... but that would mean naming names and testifying in court. Much easier to just write an article and name nobody and hope people believe you and give you sympathy anyhow - despite keeping quiet about it for years and choosing this particular moment to speak out.

I personally wouldn't, because it makes it look like you have something to hide.
