As far as I know, he plays (or used to play) the extended edits of songs and pre-mix the beats together using Pro Tools or Ableton.
Only reason why I ask is that they have removed all the Capital Mixtape Playlist's from the page. http://www.capitalfm.com/on-air/mixtape/playlist/
Is this temporary or is it play time again? (I enjoy the Mixtape)
