I'm confused is the new bond film Skyfall as according to adele it's skyfoal

I do like Adele (hey, she's a Spurs girl), but Skyfall is so lyrically lazy its ridiculous

First rule about the Skyfall club is don't talk about Skyfall....at least until more people have seen it!

I too love Richard III - a much maligned King. If anyone is interested read The Daughter of Time by Josaphine Tey.

Agreed - brilliant book. Mr William Shakespeare has much to answer for in relation to Richard III

All getting very learned here tonight - more white wine chaps / chapesses?

The plantagenets were the most interesting:)

They were - don't know if you can still get it, but there's a great book on the Plantagenets called "Devil's Brood" by Alfred Duggan.

    Hi everyone :)

Two quick questions (sorry if they've already been answered:o )

    1. What time do the results normally get posted?

    2. Who does everyone think was in the bottom two?

Were you excited when they found Richard III in the car park?

We were very excited in our house. Daughter loves Richard III, and she got me into this period of history.

I'm more of a Napoleonic wars sort of girl

Yes, very excited! Had already dragged OH all over Towton last time we went to York. He just groaned when I went on about the skeleton, so Bosworth is probably out till I talk him round!

Anyone see Mary Berry making french fancies on Great British Bake Off, I was just thinking far easier to go get Mr Kipling ;)

Another good one is "The Sunne in Splendour" by Sharon Penman. She has a third possible suspect (as in neither Richard III nor Henry VII).

    1. Results sometime soon - they were in by 10.50 ish last week.

    2. My bottom 2 would be Sid & the Richard / Fern. Sid will get sympathy vote so probably Richard & Fern (IMHO)
