Apparently if Obama wins Iowa and Colorado which it looks like, he doesn't need Florida, Ohio or Virginia. Wow.

One down. With Oregon etc. this is done.

Oregon 7 , Nevada 6, Iowa 6 and Colorado 9, are enough for 270 aren't they provided they don't switch from the last election?

    Not a hope in hell.

Indeed, LostFool. Romney would have to win Ohio 18 + Virginia 13 + Florida 29 to even stand a chance and it's looking very uphill now.

I'm not sure of the etiquette in here, if I say owt out of line please just tell me, I won't be offended or take the slightest umbrage if I become too chatty or off topic.

It's 4 in the morning, I think etiquette went out of the window at 2 ;)

And he wins New Mexico. :D

    California always goes Democratic.

In 1994, Republicans demonized illegal immigrant Latinos with a ballot initiative.

Now Latinos are extremely powerful, especailly in California.

So all is lost for Republicans.

Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein ran for reelection without running a single ad, without campaigning at all. And she's going to win.

Looks like Obama is close to being projected the winner of the election.

I'll be glad in a few days when I won't have to hear so much about the election anymore.
