I don't know whether it's always been like this and I've only just noticed it but I am getting irritated by everything in the show being explained to camera by the camp-mates. You don't get to see the same scene for more than 10 seconds without it cutting to the bush telegraph to get an explanation from the campmate of what you've just seen.

Yes, we know that because we can see you.
Haha I hadn't thought about that maybe there isnt much 'interesting' chat going on in camp for them to cover at the moment. Hopefully that will change now the numbers are up to 12.
Personally, though, i'm not finding it boring. In fact this year I know more celebs than I ever have before thats cos I'm an oldie too! My partners son is 17 and only knows Ashleigh and David Haye!! So I can see why the perception is that the celebs are poor this year, but it all depends on your own age I think.
I also enjoyed the "record breakers" task last night I thought it was refreshing to see a trial based on something other than grossing us or the celebrities out.
The writers will come up with a new script for them to get their teeth into soon, so expect a big bust up between the 2 dolly birds and a threat of violence towards the posh twonk from David Haye

Who are they?
I don't think it's fair to call either Ashley or Charlie a dolly bird, they both seem like game "birds" tbh.
I watched the opening show on Sky+ and have been recording them since. I just got to get around to watching them, instead of nipping in here to play catch up.

Very true. The running camp mate commentary has been ongoing since the year Sherrie Murphy was in there. It's very annoying. Pictures speak a thousand words, and we have pictures. No idea why they continue with this.

Does anyone else feel the same - it seems as though last year's series only ended last week and the new series started straight away afterwards - the format has become tired and I have lost interest in it - it is the same thing every year, same entry journeys to the jungle, same tasks, same coming together of the camps to the usual mutual irritation of each camp cos of the "bonding" - even Ant and Dec seem to be less enthusiastic this year.+ the budget must have been very low this year with the lack of any decent "celebs",
Of course I will still probably keep watching!! but I never feel like this when Big Brother starts.
