MCoG 2 has been a rumour for a very long time but so glad that it is a reality and will be released very soon.
I cannot find any mention to an English dub of the series as yet but they would be mad not too, it was very popular in the UK, US and other countries around the world.
If they did release a UK soundtrack, I wonder what channel it would appear on?
No, you're right. No mention of an English dub yet but they'd be mad to ignore that market as it was extremely popular over here at least, and likely the same in the States.
I'll give this one a go too, even though I never did get around to watching the whole of the original (unlike Ulysses).
I have to say though, I didn't enjoy the new Thundercats at all and am still very disappointed that the new movie version of Gatchaman didn't make it to fruition.
Getting impatient now, I want to see the new series already!!
This was such a big part of my childhood that it made me want to follow in Esteban's footsteps for years... and I've just returned from South America having done that finally!

There's a live action version being made right now, hopefully for release at the end of the year. There's very little info about it at the moment, though.
And there's still hope for a Gatchaman animated, but the one from Imagi is definitely dead

just saw the trailer for that ..... very interesting ..... the phoenix looks badass .....
I saw the add for this yesterday but had to go out before it came on and there was no repeat later in the day. But it looks good, so i'm guna try and catch up on it.
It's one of those shows like Dogtanian and Around the world with willy fog where I remember watching it and the intro credits but pretty much nothing about the actual story.
The new game is out in a few weeks, its going to be PC,Wii, android etc. Its the one done via kick starter.
There's already a mini game on android which is fun flying the golden condor and the music is the usual greatness:D
All in all its great to see mcog getting the full treatment it deserves.

Started watching new series Monday. Was impressed to see how true to the original it has tried to be. Needless to say at the age of 36 this is the first cartoon to be series linked on my sky box

not as badass as MY version of it
I'll just make do with the cover of the theme I found on iTunes lol
Anyone know when this airs on kix or whether a DVD or "alternative-release" is available? I cannot find anything
It airs (properly) from tonight at 18:00 I think.
DVD is due out in Feb: http://www.fabulousfilms.com/products/143
No mention of a blu-ray, but hopefully it'll come, as it looks stunning in HD in the youtube trailers for the new series.
(The new voices will take some getting used to!)

Apparently the bits you fly over are the lands in the main game that's due for release.
