I love the song and have downloaded it. It is only the third song I have downloaded!
However, I really do think that some of the forum members on here are saying some dreadful things. It is irrelevant which town/football team or whatever is involved. It is young and older people who were killed unnecessarily and the police did nothing to help them.
I don't think he's very good anymore. His performance at the Olympics was hideous. It may be as a result of his age, but it's not ageism, it's just taste.
The emboldened part is ageism
He was also back on form at the 121212 concert in America and gained rave reviews, especially for his jam with Nirvana
He is noticeably much more consistent in his regular shows in recent years than with his TV appearances unfortunately which is where most of the public make their i'll-advised opinions. He normally takes a few songs to warm up his voice these days.
Considering how he plays just under three hours and around 35-38 songs in his regular show set lists without a break or even a drink of water it shows that he's not done with music! Hopefully his new rock album will show some still got it, although like his recent albums Chaos and Creation, Memory Almost Full and Electric Arguments the UK public wont notice that much unfortunately.

I can understand people not wanting to support this charity to be fair. Injustice happens on a daily basis, as does people dying in tragic ways. I can imagine a lot of people feel disconnected from supporting a charity aimed at a disaster that happened over 20 years ago.
So "we've got our Christmas #1's back" from the evil music destroying X Factor... only to discover that they're nearly always pretty sh*te anyway!
Yeah because this is such a ****ing jolly christmas tune  Christmas Number One died over 20 years ago. The only Number One with relevance has been 'Band Aid 20', lets not kid ourselves and pretend the X Factor ruined it.
James Arthur tweet Platinum single baby! Not a bad start thanks to all who bought it now make sure the hillsbrough tune is number 1 https://twitter.com/JamesArthur23
You have your opinion I have mine, rather my money go to a worthy cause with a worthy song then to a true crock of a record company (the song was good for an X Factor release)

For me it's an awful version of a bloody good song.
Awful cause though.
Ha ha, fair enough.
So we as a country have to pay money because of this Police cover up?

Yes,so downloading the song is now irrelevant as UK taxpayers are footing the legal bill.

Indeed, here's Helter Skelter from that benefit concert.

Yep back on form with the 121212 concert. He's working on new material for a next yr release.
at the end of the day its like all music, one person's great is another person's Sh*te,its subjective
Id rather have a complete steaming turd of a novelty record at number one than the dirge sharted out by the X Factor.
